Southridge RV Park opened in September of 2012, and is owned by Scott Duncan, Rufus Duncan, Jr., and Ben Glisan. Mary Moore of Lufkin oversees the operation of the park while Jerri Fierro is the local Park Manager. The park has 60 sites or spaces that can accommodate up to a 45 rig, and each space has room for a personal vehicle, said Jerri Fierro, Park Manager. Each RV site includes full hook-ups, with water, sewer, electricity, free Internet and cable TV, and WiFi. We have both 50/30 amp spaces and an on-site laundry mat. The property is also landscaped. Right now our park is full and we have a waiting list due to all of the pipeline workers in Ozona. We do our best to accommodate as many people as we can and try to assist these workers in finding a place to park. The Ozona Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize Southridge RV Park for their commitment to provide the best possible service to local residents and visitors to our community. 3 December 2018 Chamber Dialogue Page 3 Record turn out for the Evening on the Town The Ozona Chamber of Commerce and local member businesses teamed up to host our sixth annual Evening on the Town event. Hosted on Thursday, December 6th, from 6:00-8:30 p.m., 20 local businesses participated. Many had activities, refreshments, sales, or specials to take advantage of during this festive season. Customers were able to pick up a free ticket at each of the participating businesses to earn a chance to win one of 52 door prizes. The more businesses you visited, the better your chances were to win! Whether you needed trinkets, gifts, or were just hungry along the way, there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy. We would like to thank not only the participating businesses, but those who donated a prize making the evening fun for all. We would like to thank DJ Johnny Tambunga for providing the sounds of Christmas on the town square and the First Baptist Church for the live Nativity Scene. We had the best turn out in six years! There were 998 residents that came out to shop and visit. This was an increase of 371 residents over last year. Of the total residents, 482 were first time attendees, and 516 were repeat attendees. Fourteen people were from out of state, (AR, CA, CO, IL, LA, NC & NM) staying at local motels, and thirty-two people from within Texas enjoyed the evening as well.

Texas visitors-392, Out of State-200, Local-63, Foreign-10 -Year-to-date walk-in traffic is 6,930 -Traveling in November: East-331, West-157, North-34 and South-10 -Top visiting states for the month were-az, CA, NM, MS, NV -Top visiting cities for the month were-el Paso, San Antonio, Austin, San Angelo, Houston -Weekdays in order of the busiest in November were Friday, Wednesday, Monday, Thursday, Tuesday and Saturday -Year-to-date Chamber related inquiries 11%, and Tourism related inquiries were 89% -Top requested items or services for the month were: restaurants, directions, maps, lodging, Interpretive Trail Advertising -Year-to-date the Chamber has filled, in response to our advertising, 20,100 requests for information on Ozona. An additional 4,100 brochures have been handed out to walk-in visitors and mailed to statewide Travel Centers. What services are sought at For the month of November at there were 1,580 business directory searches, and 982 actual member page hits! These are people searching for YOUR services.
