In Bockholmwik and Golsmaas they cooked for themselves, learned how to clean the windows, how to iron their clothes and much more. 2 What we ate on our class trip From 5th to 7th June 2018 my class, the 7b, was on a class trip in Bockholmwik. But on a class trip everybody needs to eat something. On 4th June we had made groups for cooking and buying the food. They had bought food for two days: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mrs. Hansen had brought all this food to the youth hostel in Bockholmwik because we went there by bike. The first day one cooking-group made a nice breakfast. We ate bread with eggs, some cheese and also cereals. Another group prepared the lunch: chili con carne. It was very yummy but it wasn t spicy enough in my opinion. The second day we had the same breakfast like the first day, but that day we didn t have lunch. We only had some crispbread, so just a little snack, because we wanted to do a barbecue in the evening. I was in the group that was responsible for preparing the barbecue. We made a salad, turkey steaks and sausages. The barbecue was really yummy and it was a lot of fun to do it by ourselves. But unfortunately it wasn t enough food. After that we grilled bread on a stick over the campfire. It wasn t very delicious because my bread was a bit raw inside. The last day we had some breakfast again and after that we went home by bike. The class trip was very cool and we really had a lot of fun! FOOD The food on our class trip to Golsmaas We arrived in Golsmaas on Tuesday at 4 pm. First of all we moved into our house and made everything ready. Then we looked at the clock. It was 6 pm and we were very hungry. We wanted to eat steaks and sausages with ketchup. The steaks were delicious! The next morning we ate toast with Nutella. Unfortunately, we couldn t cook for lunch because we didn t have a lot of time. We just ate a 5 minutes - terrine and played cards in our group. In the evening we made hotdogs. Everybody in our group ate 2 hotdogs. That was very yummy. Our second breakfast was toast with Nutella again, but everyone liked it. After some hard and funny games we ate 5 minutes - terrines, again. In the afternoon we made calzone, that is like a pizza but rolled-up. It was a special evening because our teacher Mr. Bartel came to have dinner with us. We drank Pepsi, ice tea and milk every day. 3 The food on our class trip On 5th June, 2018 we made a bike trip to Bockholmwik. After we had arrived we had lunch. For lunch we had bread, ham, vegetables, fruits, cheese and also some cookies. At ten past six we always had dinner. We ate chili con carne with some bread. The second day we had breakfast at half past nine. We ate bread, cheese, ham, salami and marmalade. That day we ate the same things for lunch that we already had for breakfast. In the evening we had a barbecue. In addition to the meat we ate bread and we also had some ketchup, mustard and salad. The salad was made of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and bell peppers. The last day we had breakfast like the day before. After the breakfast we all cycled back home. In the evening we had a barbecue. On Wednesday we ate yoghurt with fruits for lunch, but that was too little for us. So got some food from another girls group: we joined their barbecue! For dinner we made barbecue again. Together with Mr. Bartel, our class teacher. That was delicious! On Thursday we ate buns for breakfast. For lunch we had waffles. I brought my waffle machine. It was soooo good. We had pizza from the grill for dinner. That barbecue was also really yummy. The last breakfast was on Friday. We ate buns and also prepared some buns for our bike trip back to school. I think our class trip was really funny and yummy! One of my friends brought a cotton candy machine because we had guests that evening. Written by Henriette Written by Leve The food chaos on our class trip On 5th to 8th June, 2018 my class made a class trip to Golsmaas, near Pottloch. We went by bike and arrived at half past six in the evening. One of my friends brought a cotton candy machine because we had guests that evening. At seven o clock we made dinner (pasta). Unfortunately, we had a big problem because we saw that we didn t have an oven. But we wanted to make pizza and buns made in the oven! We needed a solution. Then we thought of one! We ordered buns at breakfast and ate them in the evening. They were yummy! Our class trip to Golsmaas/food and rooms On 5th June, 2018 we went to Golsmaas for our class trip. The house our group stayed in was good. When we went through the door we could see the kitchen on the left and a door to the bedrooms in the background. On the right there was something to sit on. In the middle there was a table with chairs for eating breakfast, lunch, dinner or playing cards. The first day we ate Mirácoli. It tasted ok, but I didn t like it that much. The next day we ate buns with salami, cheese and Nutella. For lunch we had some yogurt with many different fruits 3

4 like apples, melons and bananas. For dinner we grilled skewered meat and some baguette with herbs. The last day we ate normal breakfast. For lunch we ate waffles with sugar. Later we ate pizza from the grill because we didn t have an oven. The trip to Golsmaas was very cool. It was my best class trip. Written by Mona Our tasty class trip On 5th June I was in Bockholmwick with my class. That was really funny. On the first day we ate small snacks after our arrival. After that we had some free time. After the free time was over, we met with the teachers and played a murderer game. Later in the evening we ate Chili Con Carne. The second day we had a large buffet for breakfast with cornflakes and buns. That was delicious. In the afternoon we ate small snacks again. Then we had different workshops. We really had a lot of fun. In the evening we did a BBQ. Each of us had a sausage and a bun. It was a bit small, but still tasty. The last morning we had a buffet again. Then we went back to school by bike. The trip was really fun and the class grew together. In the evening we did a BBQ. Written by Lasse ACTIVITIES Our Schedule in Bockholmwik On 5th June, 2018 my class (7B) and I drove to Bockholmwik by bike. We drove two hours to arrive in Bockholmwik. When we ve arrived in our accommodation we moved into our rooms and prepared everything. After that the lunch group made a yummy buffet with delicious food. Our stomaches were full and we had free time. In the free time we played outside with a ball. It was really funny because Karlotta, Sadaf, Ida, Fiona and I made a lot of crazy things. In the afternoon the dinner group made chili con carne. After the dinner we went to our rooms and got ready for the evening. At 8 pm the whole class sat together in a circle and talked about the first day of our class trip. The next day we had fruits, bread and cornflakes for breakfast. Then we had a cool workshop on how to live alone. When the workshop ended we had lunch and went to the beach. After swimming in the ocean we made a big campfire and grilled ' sausages and bread. At 9 pm we sat in a circle again and talked about that day. The next day we had breakfast and after that we went back home by bike. We had a cool workshop on how to live alone! Written by Alexa 4

5 An exciting game called round and some action on the trampoline On Tuesday we came to Bockholmwik. When we had some free time we first of all played round and soccer, then we had lunch. After that we went to the playground and we jumped on the trampoline. On the trampoline we fought: boys vs. girls. In the evening we went to the beach. The boys played soccer and the girls went swimming. On Wednesday we played our favorite game round again and made some tricks on our bikes. In the afternoon the boys played some more soccer and the girls enjoyed the game round one more time. In the evening we sat at a campfire and grilled bread. That night we had a big party in our room. On Thursday we jumped on the trampoline once again and then we went back home by a bike. I liked the class trip because we made a lot of cool activities. Written by Bjarne A. Beach Ball and Jumping Action On Tuesday we jumped on the bouncy castle that was very funny. The bouncy castle was in the playground of the campsite. After that we played table tennis with a football and ran around the table. We played it with ten friends. That s a very nice game and it is outside. On Wednesday we played football with the boys of the class. We also went to the beach. There we swam and we fought. That was the best activity on our class trip. In the evening we grilled bread on a stick over a campfire. Later, we had a party in our dormitory because it was Can s birthday. I liked that class trip because we had a lot of fun in Bockholmwik. Free time on our class trip In the free time of our class trip in Golsmaas we had a lot of time to do what we wanted to do and we had four groups that prepared activities for 2 days. The first day after we had arrived me and my friends went swimming. The next day the first group prepared the activities. They suggested to play cops and robbers and volleyball. After 2 hours the next group had prepared the activity to go swimming. It was a lot of fun. There were small waves and the water was not too cold. After some hours we went to bed. The next day my group was responsible for the activities. We played boys vs. girls. The girls won. After that we played volleyball. After 2 hours the last group proposed to go swimming and that was boring because it was windy. On the last day we did nothing special. The class trip was very cool. 6 My class trip On 5th June, 2018 (a Tuesday) my class and I started our class trip at 12 o clock. We cycled from our school to Golsmaas for 4 hours. The first dinner we had was a barbecue. It was delicious. The next day we had lot of free time. We were four groups. Each group organized activities for 2 hours per day. So, group 1 planned the free time from 10 to 12 o clock. During that time we played hide-and-seek. It was a funny game. I was in that first group. Group 2 planned the free time from 2 to 4 o clock. With this group we went to a beach. There we swam in the sea and played Viking Chess. My class swam to the yellow buoy and we played hide and seek again. The next day group 3 and group 4 planned the free time. In the free time we swam in the sea too. One of my friends had mermaid flippers and I swam - with the mermaid flippers in the sea. It looked like I was a real mermaid. The weather was really good and we had a lot of fun. From 2 to 4 o clock group 4 planned some mini games, for example boys vs. girls. The girls won the mini games and we had a lot of fun. In the afternoon I played badminton with Jana (a good friend of mine). The food was also really nice. It looked like I was a real mermaid. Written by Anna Free time activities on our class trip On Tuesday we jumped on a bouncy castle. That was a lot of fun and we made different tricks. The bouncy castle was in the playground and the playground was very cool. We played table tennis with a football with ten friends or even more. That was also very amusing. And we went to the beach and swam for ten minutes. I love swimming with friends. On Wednesday we also played in the playground but we didn t jump on the bouncy castle. In the afternoon we went to the beach and swam for an hour and we fought two vs. two persons: one girl and one boy and the girl was on the boy s shoulders. On Thursday we also played together and then we went back to school by bike. I liked it and it was very funny with my friends! I love swimming with my friends! Written by Leonie Our free time on our class trip On our class trip we were in Golsmaas in a holiday village. We had a lot of free time. On Wednesday and Thursday one group had to plan two hours, the first group from 10 am until 12 am, the second group from 2 pm until 4 pm. The first group was playing cops and robbers and also / volleyball. The second group took us to the beach. Between these activities we could do whatever we wanted. On Thursday at 10 pm had to organize something. we organized boys vs. girls together with some mini games. The other group went to the beach again. We had a lot of free time Written by Meeno 6

7 Bye-bye, Hotel Mum On our class trip in year 7 we went to Golsmaas. Our ambition was to learn how we could live alone, for example how to cook, how to do the dishes and how to clean up. On Monday we bought all the things we needed for cooking. The 1 next day, on Tuesday, we started our trip by bike. We were lucky because Henriette s father brought our luggage to Golsmaas. So we went by bike to Golsmaas. When we arrived there we went swimming and after that we made a barbecue. It was delicious! The next morning we ate toast with Nutella and also with jam. The next days we played a lot of volleyball and we also swam in the ocean. One day we ate Calzone, Spaghetti Bolognese and also some eggs. On Friday we drove back to Flensburg and went back home. Our ambition was to learn how we could live alone. Written by Michel much fun and the weather was so good, so we were always in a good mood. My first highlight was swimming in the ocean. We did so many crazy but also funny things. For example we did a water battle or we fought in pairs in the water. The weather was okay, because the sun was shining, but it was really windy. So it was a little bit cold (if you were outside the water). My second highlight was the campfire that we did after the dinner on our last day. We were all sitting around the campfire and it was really warm and cozy. That evening we also did cool things, for example, we played a little game. It is called werewolf. We also talked and laughed a lot and we grilled bread on a stick over the fire. It was really yummy. But my favorite highlight was that our class community grew (and that in only two days!!!). Now our class community is so strong and that makes me happy because for me (and for a lot of other people in my class) the class community is really important. Written by Sadaf Highlights My highlights of our class trip My class, the 7b, and I did a class trip to Bockholmwik during our project week. On 5th June, 2018 we drove to Bockholmwik by bike. We arrived after 2 hours. I want to tell you about my highlights, but first of all I must say it was a really nice time because we all had so 7

8 The last evening We are going to write about our highlights on our class trip. It was 6th June, an especially sunny day in Bockholmwik. First, we went down to the beach with our class. It was a bit windy, but that didn t matter, because we had a lot of fun in the water. Sad that it was over but still full of energy, we went back to our rooms. It was just a twominute-walk from our youth hostel to the beach. Back at the youth hostel, the boys started to make a BBQ-Party. At the party we played a lot of games, most of the time sport games. Then we ate sausages, bread and yummy salad. The time ran too fast. Because when we finished our party, the sunset was already there. It was so cozy to sit under the stars at the campfire. We also made delicious bread twisted on a stick and grilled over the fire. All of us were relaxed, but we still had fun. Then it was time to go to bed, sad but true. Before we had to sleep, the boys came to our room and we just talked together and said good night to each other. All in all, it was an amazing time and the memories will stay in our minds forever. Written by Fiona, Ida and Karlotta The rooms on our class trip to Bockholmwik On 5th June, 2018 my class and I made a class trip to Bockholmwik by bike. We arrived on Tuesday and we went to the rooms, which we had decided on on Monday. The rooms were tiny, but one room was big. Everybody had a closet for his or her things. But the worst thing was the dirty floor. This was disgusting! We slept in bunk beds. The rooms were divided into boys and girls rooms. But everyone liked our room. This was a very good class trip! We slept in bunk beds. Written by Melvin & Lukas Is good weather always good? We were for four days on a class trip with year 7. The first day, the Tuesday, we went by bike to Golsmaas. It was very windy and the wind came from the east, so we drove very slowly. It was hard to get there, but my group made it. And it was also very hot. The next day it was also very hot, but not that windy. Two times we had some program organized by a group of pupils. It was a sports program so it wasn t good that it was so sunny and hot because it wasn t really nice to do sports that day. On Friday the weather was the same, but the wind came from the west and the trip back home wasn t so hard. It was hard to get there, but my group made it! Written by Tim 8

9 The reason why I had to go home Actually I had hurt my foot one day before our class trip to Bockholmwik should have started. But I didn t really care about that, or at least I thought so. We went there by bike and halfway I was sobbing and wheezing because my foot hurt so much and I felt really bad until I stopped everyone from moving. It was really embarrassing, but I just couldn t stand the pain anymore and had to go to our youth hostel by car. But that was just the beginning. You need to know that I have a sensitive nose and on top of that I have allergies to dust, animal hair and the worst one: I have an allergy to pollen. This is why I was sneezing all the time and used all of my tissues until the afternoon. I guess it was pretty annoying for all my classmates, but it wasn t my fault. I am sorry for my roomies who had to deal with me bing sick. I was feeling terrible as I went to bed and it only got worse. I got a headache and everything was circling around me. The others called the teacher and I felt so bad that the other worried about me. So I started crying again. I seriously was a crying baby that day! Anyway, the teacher tried to call my parents, but somehow the numbers didn t work on her phone. I still don t know why, by the way. In the end we got another teacher s phone which worked. Then everything happened pretty fast. I had to pack my things and stood there with a teacher by my side: awkward! We watched the beautiful sky as we waited for my parents while I was still sneezing all the time. The next days I spent in bed with a fever and the day after I had got home was lost. I just slept the whole day. It didn t get any better until Friday. My conclusion? It isn t my best memory and definitely not the best time of my life, but I just hope the others had a good time because that s the only thing that matters.
