Apartment door was forced open. Officers were dispatched to Block of Auburn Ln. (Condos) for a report of a Home Invasion. Victim states her boyfriend of four months forced her apartment door open and came into her apartment without permission. When she told him, she was calling the police he fled the scene in his Silver Toyota Camry. The male does not live at the apartment. Victim stated she did not observe a weapon on suspect but stated he is known to have his pistol on him at all times. Officers later, located suspect at his residence and he was taken into custody for Home Invasion. During the search of suspect a handgun was recovered from his waistband.

3 10/24/2018 2:39pm Wakedon St. Kitchen window was found unlocked and open. Officers were dispatched to the Block of Wakedon reference a possible B&E in progress. The R/P, (mother) was calling for her 15-year old daughter who was home alone. The daughter saw someone peeking through the window and knocking on the door and called her mother. Her mother then called the police to relay the information. The daughter took refuge in the bathroom and could hear people inside the house. Officer arrived on scene and observed a White SUV leaving the residence at a high rate of speed. A second Officer gave chase after the suspect vehicle. The vehicle fled south into Redford where the pursuit was terminated. A possible suspect has been developed and incident is under investigation. 10/25/2018 7:17pm Greenfield Rd. (Residential- Apartments) Apartment door was forced open. Officers were dispatched to Domestic/ Home Invasion in the Block of Greenfield Rd. (Apartment s) Victim stated her ex-boyfriend randomly showed up to her apartment, kicked in the locked door and entered her residence without permission. Victim retreated to her bedroom. The suspect followed her and assaulted her. The suspect produced a knife and threatened to slash the tires on victim s vehicle. He then left the apartment. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

4 From: 10/25/ :00pm To: 10/26/ :00pm Melrose Ave. Unlocked bedroom window. Victim states sometime between 11:00pm- 12:00pm someone entered his residence through his unlocked bedroom window and took his Play Station and his Cellphone. Victim suspects two known suspects who live in the Block of Melrose. Victim and these subjects had a falling out recently. Victim stated the two would come over knock on windows and sit in his vehicle for no reason. Suspects have been identified and incident is under investigation. (Residential- Apartments) X - Impounded Manufacturer CHEVROLET Model IMPALA Color BLU - Blue Vehicle Year 2019 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2019 Chevy Impala Officers were dispatched to Block of Nottingham Lane to recover a stolen vehicle for Redford Police. Officers made contact with the suspect. He stated he did not know he was supposed to return the vehicle. Someone at the dealership told him he doesn t need to return the vehicle until his vehicle is fixed. Subject currently has a vehicle being serviced at the dealership. Subject was advised and the vehicle was recovered. From: 10/25/ :30pm To: 10/26/2018 1:35pm Constitution St Manufacturer SUZUKI Model GSX-R1000 Color BLK - Black Vehicle Year 2009 Body Style MC - Motorcycle State MI 2009 SUZUKI MOTORCYCLE Victim states he keeps his motorcycle at his mom s house on Constitution in Southfield. Sometime between 11:30pm- 1:35pm someone forced open the overhead garage door and took his 2009 Suzuki GSX-R1000. No suspect info.

RS Recovered Stolen Manufacturer CHRYLSER Model PACIFICA License No. Temp Tag Color RED - Red Vehicle Year 2006 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State XX License Year XX 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA Disposition ROSS TOWING Officer responded to location on a suspicious unoccupied vehicle parked in front of residence. After entering the vehicles VIN into LEIN, the query revealed the vehicle was stolen, out of Detroit. Date of Theft: 10/05/2018. During the inventory search of the vehicle, prior to impound, Officer located items of value in the center console. The items were placed into SPD Property Locker. There were no arrests, and the vehicles ignition was intact with no apparent accident damage. A LEIN message was sent to DPD notifying them of the recovery. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

She found out it was delivered on 10/20/2018 at 2:45pm to her residence on Brookshire. She never received the package. From: 10/22/2018 1:00am To: 10/22/2018 3:00pm Westbrook Pkwy. Nothing was taken. Victim states at approx. 3:00pm on 10/22/2018 he noticed that the entry and lock mechanism on the rear of his vehicle had been broken off from the door and rear hatch. Victim believes it occurred after 1:00am on 10/22/2018 after he went to bed. The suspect was not able to make entry into the vehicle. From: 10/22/2018 6:30pm To: 10/22/2018 7:30pm Red Maple Ln. When victim checked her Bank Debit Card she discovered there had been fraudulent charges on it.

They were delivered to his residence on 10/23/2018 at 10:22am. Victims neighbor (witness) observed 2- B/M s take the package at approx. 7:00pm. They were last seen walking at Inkster Rd. & Emmett St. Suspects: (1) Younger b/m, light complexion, wearing a red hoodie. (took the package) (2) Younger b/m wearing all white. 10/24/ :47am Evergreen Rd. Color License Year 2019 B1813 Stolen Michigan License Plate Tab Victim states she believes that her license plate tab was stolen from her vehicle. The vehicle was parked at her home this past weekend when she was out of town. Victim has replaced the tab. From: 10/23/2018 8:00pm To: 10/24/ :30pm Westland Dr. Misc. Sometime between 8:00pm & the following day at 12:30pm someone took several items from his bedroom. Victim thinks it s his landlord because he is behind on his monthly payments. Another tenant saw the landlord in victim s bedroom. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

He had an assortment of heavy machinery tools inside the truck. The truck and tools belong to victim s company. R/P left the truck unlocked and began working on the pavement in the parking lot. R/P observed items missing from his truck and notified his supervisor and contacted the building manager. They reviewed the video surveillance of the parking lot. 2- B/M s could be seen entering his unlocked vehicle at 9:25am. No further description of the two suspects. The two suspects left in a Dark Grey Jeep. In this case the homeowner was expecting a worker from a utility company. Always check their ID and it doesn t hurt to call the company and confirm the identity of the person with the company before letting them in. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Stolen Items: Leather shoulder bag, beige in color, with 2- straps containing: - Wallet - Michigan Driver s License - Credit Cards - Cash - Glasses Victim states on Friday 10/26/2018 between 2:42pm- 3:15pm she received a phone call from a subject who gave his name and notified her that he was outside of her home. Victim advised she was expecting repair work to her dishwasher from company, so she let the subject into her home. At 3:15pm the subject left her home, advising that he would have to return because he did not have the part needed for the repair. Victim states she never saw any form of Company ID and the subject never provided her a receipt or a return time. After the subject left her home, victim noticed that her purse had been stolen. The purse had previously been on her kitchen table and was no

10 longer there. Suspect : - W/M - In his early 40's - Approximately 5'-6 tall - Thin build - Light colored hair, receding hair line, medium length. - Wearing jeans and a t-shirt. 10/28/2018 2:53pm Franklin Rd. (Residential- Townhouses) Wallet Notes Brown Leather Men s Wallet. 12 Be on the Look Out Highlights: Special Attention: Shots Fired Assault w/ Intent to Murder 10/26/2018 6:59pm Block of Lee St. Female resident s boyfriend and her brother got into a physical altercation in the basement of the location. The residents brother produced a gun and the female resident and her boyfriend fled the house via the front door. As the subjects were running out of the house, the female s brother fired at least one round at them. The round went through the window of the front screen door. The suspect fled the house in a southerly direction. A K-9 track was conducted as well as a search by MSP s air unit with negative results. Suspect : B/M 5-9, med/heavy build, dark complexion, bald with bushy eye brows. He was wearing a sweatshirt that is grey on the top half, black on the bottom half with a red collar and black pants. He is considered armed with a pistol. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation. 13 Special Attention: Missing Person From: Loussia, Nick (Acting Chief of Police) Sent: Monday, October 22, :28 AM Subject: Missing Person OWI- 1- Arrest 10/28/2018 2:49am Northwestern & Red River Officer observed vehicle driving at a high rate of speed on N/B M-10 near Eight Mile. The right front passenger was sticking his head out of the passenger window. The vehicle began swerving back and forth across three lanes of traffic. The front passenger was now standing up in the open sunroof. Once the vehicle cleared traffic it accelerated to speeds above the posted speed limit. The vehicle quickly exited the freeway at Evergreen. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver. Upon investigating the driver, it was apparent that he had been consuming intoxicants. An OWI investigation was completed and the driver was arrested for OWI. The Southfield Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public in locating Stephen Hannah, a missing person. Mr. Hannah was last seen on October 11, 2018, possibly in the area of Ten Mile and Evergreen Road in the City of Southfield. Mr. Hannah is a 67-year-old black male, 6 1 tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray track suit and black, green and orange tennis shoes. Mr. Hannah has been entered in the Law Enforcement Information Network as a Missing Person. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Hannah is asked to contact the Southfield Police Department at

14 Special Attention: Larceny from Vehicle Block of Northwestern (Multi- Office Building) 9:25am Victim stated he parked his company work truck in the s/w corner of the parking lot. He had an assortment of heavy machinery tools inside the truck. The truck and tools belong to the company he works for. R/P left the truck unlocked and began working on the pavement in the parking lot. R/P returned to his truck, observed items missing and notified his supervisor and contacted the building manager. They reviewed the video surveillance of the parking lot. 2- B/M s could be seen entering his unlocked vehicle at 9:25am. No further description of the two suspects. The two suspects left in a Dark Grey Jeep. Possession of Marijuana/ Suspicious Circumstance- Ammo and Several Magazines for Several Different Firearms was in the Vehicle. 1- Arrest 10/24/ :03pm Telegraph & M-10 Officers stopped vehicle for Traffic Violation. After approaching the driver, he stated that he had a CPL and he was armed. The driver s firearm was un-holstered and lying on the front seat. While speaking with the driver, Officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle and was removed from the vehicle. When the driver exited the vehicle, he made admissions there was marijuana in the center console but claimed it wasn't his. The suspected marijuana was recovered and was later tested and confirmed positive. The Pistol was removed from the vehicle and numerous rounds of ammo and magazines with ammo for several different firearms were located in the vehicle. The driver also had a large sum of cash and 2 cell phones on his person. The driver was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

15 Special Attention: Larceny from Vehicles How to prevent this from happening to you! -Citizens should never leave anything of value inside their vehicle. (Especially Handguns, Purses, Wallets, Cash & Cell Phones!) - If you have a garage you should park your vehicle in the garage and lock the garage. - Wheel Locks are a deterrent but don t leave the wheel lock key in the interior of your vehicle, especially the center console or glove box. This is the first place they will look for the wheel lock. -After parking your vehicle turn your wheels all the way to the right or the left. This will make it difficult to get the lug nuts off the front wheels. -If you don t have a garage, try to park your vehicle as close to your residence as possible -If you here any loud noises near where your vehicle is parked, especially during the late night or early morning hours, attempt to look outside without alerting anyone and if someone is tampering with your vehicle immediately call 911, (Do Not Approach or Scare the Suspects Away) give Police Dispatchers as much information about the suspect(s) and DWLS/ Possession of Marijuana- 1- Arrest 10/24/ :55pm Block of W Twelve Mile Rd. Officer observed vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Officer paced the vehicle at speeds well above the posted speed limit. Officer stopped the vehicle in the area of 12 Mile & Evergreen Rd. The driver couldn t produce a valid Driver s License. (Suspended) The driver was arrested for DWLS & Possession of Marijuana. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician Field Tested a sample of the suspected marijuana. It tested positive for possible presence of marijuana. Possession of Marijuana/ Warrant Arrest 10/27/2018 1:43am Evergreen Rd. & Northwestern Hwy. Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense. Upon investigating the driver, it was discovered that he had an outstanding 46th District Court Warrant for Contempt of Court & Retail Fraud. During the Officers investigation, it was also discovered that the driver was in possession of suspected marijuana. The subject was arrested and lodged.

Criminals don t like to work in well lighted areas. They prefer to work in darkness because it s difficult to see them. Special Attention: Larceny of Packages that were ordered and delivered via Common Carrier. How to prevent this from happening to you! Recently several citizens have had packages that were delivered to their residences and apartments stolen prior to them retrieving the packages. Citizens can prevent this from happening by scheduling a specific time to have the package delivered and be waiting for the package. Citizen can also schedule the package to be picked up by themselves at the common carrier facility.
