Speaker Ms Christine Louey, Chisholm Institute Chisholm Institute worked with the Government of Vietnam to develop 12 qualifications across 12 industry areas, including training materials. To support the implementation of qualifications, 200 Vietnamese TVET teachers came to Australia for 4-5 months for an intensive professional development program. Speaker Ms Carol Elliot A Victorian provider worked with government of San Luis over the last 12 months to develop and implement a TVET system and establish the University of Eva Peron to deliver vocational qualifications. The project developed a TVET a qualifications framework for San Luis as well as specific qualifications in plumbing, welding, mechanical electrical, hairdressing and beauty. It also included a bridging course for prospective students and a TVET teacher training course for teachers delivering the program. This social enterprise combines a restaurant specialising in native favours with a comprehensive training program for young people who have experienced barriers to employment. 5 P age
