1 MEDIA RELEASE Far East Organization developments recognised at FIABCI World Prix d Excellence and Asia Pacific Property Awards 2017 Waterfront Collection, a joint venture project between Far East Organization and Frasers Centrepoint Limited, awarded World Silver Winner in the Residential (Mid Rise) category in the FIABCI World Prix d Excellence Oasia Hotel Downtown, SBF Center and The Hillier garnered four accolades at the Asia Pacific Property Awards Singapore, 29 May 2017 Four developments by Far East Organization were recognised at the prestigious FIABCI World Prix d Excellence and Asia Pacific Property Awards Both award ceremonies were held on 26 May 2017, with FIABCI World Prix d Excellence 2017 held in conjunction with the 68 th FIABCI World Congress in Andorra La Vella and the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2017 held at The Marriott Marquis Queen s Park in Bangkok, Thailand. The Waterfront Collection, a master-planned residential community located in the eastern part of Singapore, received the World Silver Award in the Residential (Mid Rise) category at the FIABCI World Prix d Excellence Adjudicated by an international panel comprising top real estate professionals and experts, the FIABCI World Prix d'excellence awards programme recognises international real estate projects that display distinction in various developmental aspects concept, architecture and design, development and construction, community benefit and environmental impact, and financial and marketing. 2 At the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2017, our Central Business District properties, Oasia Hotel Downtown, an integrated hotel-office development, and SBF Center, a commercial property jointly developed by Far East Organization and Far East Orchard Limited, were conferred Regional Nominee and 5-Star Winner in the Best Mixed-Use Architecture and Best Office Development Singapore categories respectively. Oasia Hotel Downtown and The Hillier/hillV2, a mixed used development comprising residential apartments and retail space, also received the Award Winner title in the Best New Hotel Construction and Design and Best Mixed-Use Development Singapore categories respectively. As Regional Nominee in the Best Mixed-Use Architecture and Best Office Development Singapore categories, Oasia Hotel Downtown and SBF Center will move on to compete for the Asia Pacific title at the International Property Awards which will take place at the end of the year in London, United Kingdom. The Asia Pacific Property Awards, part of the globally renowned International Property Awards, celebrate the highest levels of achievement by companies in the property and real estate industry. Evaluated by a judging panel which consists of over 70 highly respected experts, the winning entries were selected based on a stringent set of criteria which includes quality of design, construction and presentation of individual properties and property developments, interiors, architecture and marketing. 3 FIABCI WORLD PRIX D EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2017: Waterfront Collection World Silver Winner, Residential (Mid Rise) Category Waterfront Collection, jointly developed by Far East Organization and Frasers Centrepoint Limited, is a master-planned residential community framing the 88- hectare Bedok Reservoir. Designed to maximise views to the reservoir, the Waterfront Collection comprises Waterfront Waves, Waterfront Key, Waterfront Gold and Waterfront Isle. The Waterfront Collection sits on a former HUDC estate known as Waterfront View which was built in the 1980s. Subsequent to en-bloc acquisition, a master plan was developed to guide the execution as the 7.5- hectare site was carved into four parcels with each developer leading two developments. This approach allows the creation of four distinct developments yet held together as one community. While holistically designed, each development has its unique design concept so that homebuyers enjoy variation in the architecture, landscape and facilities. The master-planned development was also launched in phases to better meet market needs and demand as well as allow subsequent phases to be developed in tandem with up-to-date and relevant lifestyle trends. ASIA PACIFIC PROPERTY AWARDS 2017: SBF Center Regional Nominee and 5-Star Winner, Best Office Development, Singapore Located in the Central Business District along Robinson Road, the 31-storey SBF Center is a commercial development featuring dedicated, purpose-built medical suites as well as high quality, contemporary office spaces. A Green Mark Platinum building, SBF Center features a collection of sky gardens interspersed throughout the development, a fully sheltered plaza stylishly landscaped into a park-like environment with F&B outlets and alfresco dining areas, as well as recreational facilities including a 20m lap pool and gymnasium.
