2 Wade House Visitor Center The two-level, LEED certified 38,000-square foot Visitor Center stands as a graceful gateway to the site. The Visitor Center includes two fully equipped meeting rooms, The Lawns, the Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum and the Butternut Café. You may rent the entire space, individual rooms or combinations. Guests travel by horse-drawn vehicle through the woods and over the Mullet River, seemingly back in time. STAGECOACH HOTEL The period furnished hotel is a perfect place for inspired conversations and memorable celebrations. The taproom and dining room display the elegance and charm inherent in historic architecture and can be used for small meetings, lunches and dinners. DOCKSTADER BLACKSMITH SHOP Watch blacksmithing in action, a trade, which kept carriages running and horses shoed. WESLEY W. JUNG CARRIAGE MUSEUM See and hear the history of a local thriving carriage industry and walk among nearly every kind of horsedrawn vehicle you can imagine and possibly more! HERRLING SAWMILL See a water-powered saw chisel away large logs and learn how this 1850s state-of-the-art contraption would have helped supply the lumber for building the plank road.
