7 7 For in-patient treatment and out-door patient treatment the liability of the University shall be limited to the rates fixed by the CGHS for such treatment including procedures. In case hospitals charges more than that of the CGHS rates, the employees are free to use the services, providing they pay the difference on their own. In case the eligible accommodation is not available at the time of admission, the patient will be entitled to lower category of accommodation. But if patient is provided with the higher category accommodation at his/her own request, the differential amount will be borne by the beneficiary. For all treatment in the approved Hospitals/Nursing Home/Centre the liability of the University shall be limited to the rates fixed by the CGHS for such treatment and procedures including room rent etc. It may kindly be brought to the notice of all staff members (Teaching/Non-Teaching) of your Faculty/Department/Section. A copy of the notification may be displayed at the Notice Board.
