2 Today you will depart Brisbane Roma Street Railway Station at 11:00am on-board the Tilt Train travelling to Maryborough*. Upon arrival into Hervey Bay you have an afternoon at leisure. This evening there will be a group Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant. Stay: Mantra Hervey Bay Meals: Dinner Day 2, Monday, 3 SEP After breakfast, depart on a day tour exploring the surrounding area of Hervey Bay. Take the coach up to the quaint town of Childers and visit the historical family owned Paragon Theatre. Take a look behind the scenes of the historic theatre with a tour. Make your way to Apple Tree Creek for a light lunch (own expense) don t fill up too much as you will head to Ohana Winery & Exotic Fruits for an interactive guided tour of the exotic fruit orchards. You will have a wine and tropical fruit jam tasting session. This afternoon, enjoy some time at leisure ahead of dinner this evening at a local restaurant. Stay: Mantra Hervey Bay Meals: Breakfast, Morning tea, Dinner Day 3, Tuesday, 4 SEP This morning after breakfast and checking out of your hotel you will be transferred to the passenger ferry terminal for your ferry transfer to Fraser Island. On arrival, enjoy a light lunch before checking into your room. This afternoon will be at leisure to relax and unwind ahead of dinner at the resort tonight. Stay: Kingfisher Bay Resort Day 4, Wednesday, 5 SEP After breakfast, depart on a full day Island tour. On this beautiful day out, you will visit the top natural attractions of the island and cool off in watering holes. Discover Lake McKenzie, Maheno Shipwreck, Eli Creek, Stonetool, SandBowl and Wanggoolba Creek- all from the comfort of a custom designed 4WD air- conditioned coach.
