3 FEATURED DAY TRIPS APRIL - GORDY & DEBBIE: TRIBUTE TO GEORGE STRAIT Join our group for dinner and a fun night of entertainment as we travel to Leavenworth, Kansas to see Gordy & Debbie s tribute to George Strait. Gordy and Debbie are a husband and wife singing duo from Branson, who have also traveled around the country sharing their dynamic energy, hilarious comedy and wide array of country songs and music. With their plus years of success in the entertainment industry, this is sure to be a true night of great music and fun! $ - includes dinner & transportation. RSVP by March. APRIL - BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, NEW THEATRE Barefoot in the Park stars Laverne and Shirley co-stars Cindy Williams and Eddie Mekka as newlyweds Corie and Paul in one of Neil Simon s best comedies. Kansas Wine Trail August, Final payment due August 0, Join us as we experience Stage Coach Days at the Mahaffie Farmstead in Olathe, KS., kicking off their annual event at this historic site. We ll also enjoy a stop at Prairie Fire in Leawood the county s premier mixed-use development for lunch, shopping and a visit to the only museum in the Midwest affiliated with New York s Museum of Natural History. Arrow Rock Heritage Festival October, Final payment due September, The wine country of Kansas yes, there are over 0 years of grape-growing in the flower State! On this day trip we re off to Lawrence, Kansas to Haskell Indian Nations University Cultural Center for a walking tour and interpretation of the historic campus buildings and cemetery. Our next stops will be at two family-owned wineries: Blue Jacket Crossing Winery for lunch and wine tasting, then on to wine tasting at White Tail Run Winery. First days: Twilight Tour November, Final payment due October, Join us for a fall day in a National Landmark Village: Arrow Rock, Missouri during its 0th Annual Heritage Festival, held the second full weekend of October. Hundreds of artisans gather with their talents in the historic district. We ll visit the new visitor center that focuses on the history of the Missouri Indians and the Boons Lick Region. After lunch in the district, we ll hop on a tram for a tour through this picturesque village. We ll visit the Sites Gun Shop, tour the George Caleb Bingham house and have plenty of time to browse and shop the festival. Cost: $.00 - includes lunch and transportation. Christmas on Strawberry Hill December, Final payment due November, On the first day of every month, thousands of people fill the sidewalks of the Crossroads enjoying what has become the city s liveliest and recurring event.
