2 Sponsorship Proposal Green Building Day Green Building Day 2014 EVENT/PROJECT SUMMARY Green Building Day is the biggest event on the green building calendar and this year the program is focused on the future the future of green building and the people that can make it happen. Experts will present their forecasts for the year ahead including innovations and trends that will directly impact the people and businesses in the green building industry. There will also be an opportunity to network and exchange ideas over drinks. Format Venue: Sydney NSW Teachers Federation Conference Centre 37 Reservoir Street, Surry Hills NSW Melbourne Melbourne Brain Centre, The University of Melbourne Cnr Genetics Lane and Royale Parade, Parkville VIC Dates: Sydney Tuesday 27 May 2014 Melbourne Friday 30 May 2014 Program includes: o o Full day of keynote presentations and panel discussions Presentations will include a mix of high level strategic thinking and detailed case studies (please see separate draft program for more details) o Focus on future trends for the Green Building industry and the property sector Seating: Theatre Catering: All day catering plus networking drinks at completion of the event Target PAX: 150 CPD points: Half Day = 6 CPD points (all streams) Full day = 12 CPD points (all streams)

3 Sponsorship Proposal Green Building Day Partner with us The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) profiles sustainable ideas, initiatives and products through Leading Green Thinkers events to promote the sustainable outcomes achieved by the industry using environmentally and socially responsible practices. Partnering with us to profile your organisation through a Leading Green Thinkers event will assist you to promote your sustainable achievements and enhance your organisation s profile among industry contacts and potential clients. 4 Sponsorship Proposal Green Building Day Requirements As a Leading Green Thinkers Sponsor, your organisation commits to the following: Provision of your company logo (JPEG) and copy for inclusion in event promotion to the GBCA, in line with an agreed deadline Provision of feedback and approval on promotional elements in line with agreed deadlines Sponsorship amount payable within 14 days of the invoice date Promotion of the event to staff, clients and contacts within a reasonable timeframe requested by GBCA. The GBCA commits to the following: Coordination of all venue and catering logistics Management of event bookings and marketing through the GBCA website, e newsletters and social media channels Coordination of the event format and speaker presentations Marketing of the event to GBCA members and subscribers Provision of staff to manage venue logistics and registrations at the event. Sponsorship Commitment Event sponsorship for a single Green Building Day event: $2,000 Major event sponsorship for a single Green Building Day event: $4,000 Event sponsorship for both Sydney and Melbourne Green Building Day events: $3,500 Major event sponsorship for both Sydney and Melbourne Green Building Day events: $7,000 This document is a proposal and does not confirm any agreement.

5 Sponsorship Proposal Green Building Day Other events The GBCA is hosting a range of events throughout 2014 that your company may be interested in sponsoring. They are; MEET THE STARS These are interactive case studies of leading Green Star projects featuring facilitated discussion and insights from the project teams. 161 Castlereagh, Sydney (March) and Bowden, South Australia (April) are scheduled for 2014 so far. LEADING GREEN WOMEN Women s breakfast featuring successful female leaders in the green building space sharing their insights and advice. These will be held in Perth (May), Melbourne (May) and Sydney (June). SUSTAINABLE DESIGN This event will introduce designers, decorators and architects to sustainable interior design and the Green Star Interiors rating tool. Sustainable Design will be held in Brisbane (April) and in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney in May. INNOVATION SERIES These will be held in Sydney covering the topics of; innovation in materials (May), innovation in construction (July) and innovation in building management (Aug). THE RETAIL REVOLUTION Industry thought leaders are coming together to present on the big issues and emerging trends. Speakers represent various perspectives from multi store retailer, large grocery, banking, building owner. This will be held in Sydney and Melbourne in June. GBCA MEMBER EVENINGS Hosted by a GBCA member organisation in their Green Star certified building or fitout, member evenings bring industry professionals together to network and connect. These will be hosted nationally throughout August. FUTURE LEADERS PROGRAM (FLP) This program will target young people (27 and under). FLP aims to aid young people in networking with like minded people as well as industry professionals to help expand their skill set, knowledge and network of industry contacts. There will be an annual FL award as well as an annual networking event in Sydney and Melbourne (September).
