Your ticket includes entrance into 4 museums of your choice at no charge. If you wish to visit more than 4 museums there will be an additional charge. The park has 17 museums and cultural institutions with an incredible diversity of collections. From local San Diego history, to the history of flight, trains, or automobiles, to the workmanship of the old masters, and the arts, crafts, and culture of people near and far, recent and historical. A list of museums will be made available prior to the tour. Lunch will be on your own.

2 San Diego Zoo ~ Thursday October 25 th ~ ~ Price $79 San Diego Zoo is an urban paradise where kids and adults alike get to live out animal adventures. Visitors meander through the zoo s winding botanical-garden paths, which lead to more than 4,000 rare and interesting animals, giant pandas, great apes, and koalas, to name just a few. Special animal encounters bring guests up close and personal with their favorite creatures, from feeding giraffes to combing the hair of a pygmy goat. And zookeepers are always on-hand to share their knowledge, teaching visitors about animal care and the zoo's conservation efforts. San Diego Zoo offers a variety of ways to explore its sprawling grounds. Visitors can hop aboard a double-decker bus to zoom around the zoo as a tour guide narrates the trip. Yanks is now home to the EC-121 Tail No This Lockheed Super Constellation is a T Model which saw Meritorious Service in Southeast Asia, coastal United States, and the North Atlantic while assigned to Keflavik Naval Air Station, Iceland before its retirement. This Super Connie is the last USAF military version of this Cold War era EC-121 T-Model to have flown in recent years. After years of painstaking restoration and certification for flight, 548, with all Wright 3350 s at full power, took off from Camarillo on January 14, 2012 on its Final Mission to Yanks Air Museum in Chino, California. Yanks Museum, Docent Guided Tour of the Yanks Air Museum which hosts one of the world s largest aircraft collections, most of them airworthy. Painstakingly rebuilding these titans of American aviation history is hard work, with mechanics and craftsmen working by hand (sometimes for decades) to return craft to their original state. Every aircraft at Yanks Air Museum has a story to tell. Discover America s aviation history and the lore of flight. From the Wright Brothers 1903 Wright Flyer to the record-breaking F-106 Delta Dart and the fearsome F-14 Tomcat, along with legends like the P-40 Warhawk and the F-86 Sabre. Planes of Fame, Docent Guided Tour of the Planes of Fame which was simply dubbed The Air Museum when it was founded in 1957, as the only museum of its kind west of the Mississippi, it had no need for a more specific moniker. More than 50 years later, it now boasts a stock of over 40 displays and aircrafts such as the Messerschmitt 109G Gustav, Martin 4-0-4; Stinson L5 Sentinel, Douglas RB-26 Invader, Grumman F11F-1F Super Tiger & Stearman PT-17. Patrons can also explore an array of exhibits and aircraft that trace aviation s history. The original collection consisted of just 10 airplanes.
