5 19.30: FAREWELL DINNER: THE AQUARIUM AT ANTWERP ZOO SATURDAY 21 APRIL 2018: ZOO VISIT Zoo visit choice of Antwerp or Planckendael Buses leave for Planckendael at 9.00am. Return buses leave at (if you wish to spend longer at the zoo, buses run from Planckendael to Mechelen Railway station, where trains to Antwerp and Brussels are available. HOW TO GET THERE By air: Air services to Antwerp Airport and Brussels Airport are available for many airlines across Europe. In addition, train services from Amsterdam Airport (with a considerably larger service from other European and non-european cities than Brussels or Antwerp) are also available direct to Antwerp Central Station. Transport from the airports to Antwerp City Centre will not be provided, but taxis and public transport are available. The zoo and conference hotels are located at Koningin Astridplein in the centre of the city. By train: Antwerp is served by regular train services from Brussels, Amsterdam and other major cities. The station is directly adjacent to the zoo and the conference hotels. 5
