1 Notification with regard to the KYP New centre registration 2017 phase 2 process dated 20th of February 2018 Dear Applicant Organization, This has a reference to your registration as a KYP SDC applicant on Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM) portal through the KYP SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER REGISTRATION 2017 process. At the onset we would like to thank you for showing interest in being a part of the skilling ecosystem in Bihar. As intimated on BSDM s website the on-boarding process will be in-line to the points inundated in the various notifications published on BSDM s website. As you are aware we had received an overwhelming response in KYP SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER REGISTRATION 2017 process wherein more than 6000 applications had been received against the requirement of 408 centres. On account of this BSDM had decided for conducting the randomized lottery process in order to maintain the transparency and fairness in our approach. As an output of the randomization process a total of 408 applicants were selected for setting up KYP centres under the KYP New centre registration 2017 phase 1 process out of which 351 centres were set-up within the stipulated timelines. As intimated in the previous notification/s in case of the inability of the AO selected through the randomization process in setting up the KYP centre within stipulated timelines the subsequent AO in the panel created post randomization will be invited to set-up the KYP centre as per BSDM norms and within the stipulated period. Further in this regard these subsequent AOs will not be setting up their centre within 2 Km of any other SDC/BSDC (centres approved before the New Centre registration process 2017 Phase 1 or approved as a part of the centres marked as * centres) in Rural areas and within 1 Km of any other SDC/BSDC ((centres approved before the New Centre registration process 2017 Phase 1 or approved as a part of the centres marked as * centres) in Urban areas. In order to facilitate the mobilization of the centres set up under KYP New Centre registration process 2017 Phase 1 and the upcoming KYP New Centre registration process 2017 Phase 2 it will be mandatory for all the 57 AOs under KYP New Centre registration process 2017 Phase 2 to comply to the 1/2 Km rule stated above as applicable and also to maintain at least a 0.5 Km distance from any centre approved under the KYP New Centre registration process 2017 Phase 1 or approved as a part of the centres marked as * centres. A list of the AOs that were not able to set-up KYP centres as a part of the KYP NCR Process Phase 1 along with their subsequent AOs in the randomized panel who are now being invited is provided in Annexure 1.

2 Other General Terms If SDC is involved in doing any wrong practice regarding KYP or indulges into franchising / outsourcing / sub-letting of their registered centre in any manner then their authorization / empanelment will get cancelled / terminated immediately or after the completion of ongoing batch. If any Applicant Organization (AO) will try to contact BSDM officials by , letter, telephone, etc. to influence the registration process then application of Applicant Organization (AO) will be rejected without giving any reason. If any Applicant Organization (AO) will not complete process within schedule then BSDM will not consider their application for further process. BSDM reserves the right of granting and/or rejecting authorization to any applicant/s, without assigning any reason/s whatsoever to anyone. Authorization as SDC for KYP shall be given subject to completion of all the prescribed procedural formalities and submission of all the requisite documents.
