2 Invitation We are pleased to invite you to attend the next International Symposium «Salmonella and Salmonellosis» which will be held at Saint- Malo, France. This symposium will be organized by ANSES, Santé Publique France, INRA, Institut Pasteur and ZOOPOLE développement - ISPAIA. A significant part of these sessions will be devoted to the selected oral communications. A permanent display of the posters will be located for the 3 days in the large hall. For convenience, the morning and afternoon-breaks will take place in this hall. In addition to these free discussion moments, time will also be reserved in the program for specific sessions and meetings in front of the posters or in other places of the symposium premises. The text of oral communications and posters will be available to the participants at the beginning of the symposium. The Mont-Saint-Michel An 80-metre-high granite island stranded in a vast plain of white sand, the Mont-Saint-Michel is linked to the mainland by a dike built in The tides are the most exaggerated in France. The original abbey dates back to the 8th century, when an initial oratory was built by the bishop of Avranches in honour of the archangel Saint Michael, who had come to him.
