1 GOLD COAST TOUR Expression of Interest Sample Itinerary Looking to join us for our 2018 Gold Coast Tour? Here is a sample itinerary of activities planned and costs associated with the tour. Not all bookings have been secured. These plans are subject to change. Expressions of Interest must be in by March 10, 2018 and are secured with an accomodation deposit. 2 Dancers on tour will be required to pay a Performers fee, the same as when attending our International tours. This performers fee of $175 per dancer (subject to confirmation in April) covers all Masterclasses, Performances and Workshops. It also covers the cost of costume hire for required for the performances and entry to Dreamworld. Class wear, Shoes & Tights will need to be supplied by the dancer. Performers must be 7 years old on the first day of tour in order to attend as a performer. A Spectator fee (TBA) will be charged to any family member who wishes to attend Dreamworld with us as a group and doesn't want to pay the standard Entry fee. The spectator fee gives you access to discount entry to Dreamworld but must be paid in advance at our office. Travel will be at a seperate cost and will need to be arranged by yourself. You may choose to Fly, Bus, Train or Drive to the Gold Coast. Please note that when on the Gold Coast, transportation to and from each of the events is the responsibility of the dance families. We will not be hiring additional coaches to get tour members from event to event. Accomodation for the tour is to be booked through our Tour Director Kerri Reed at Travel Innes. She will be handling our group booking. All accomodation payments must be arranged through Travel Innes in order for your dancer to be able to participate in group activities. We will be booking as a group in order to take advantage of group rates and delayed payment convenience. Online rates can be found on various booking sites, although these are slightly cheaper, they require full payment at time of booking and are non-refundable. We have selected an accomodation option that contains many different room styles and different costs associated with these. It is your choice of which room suits you and your family. These range from Villas through to Non-Powered camping sites. You are welcome to share with other dance families. All performers on tour must however stay at the selected accomodation with the group. We want our dancers to be able to experience this tour as a united group, whilst still being able to give families the flexibility of choosing a level of accomodation that suits their needs. 4 What to do in your Free Time? Beaches Try Main Beach, Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, or my favourite Burleigh Heads. Movies Head to any of the major cinema chains on the Gold Coast to catch the latest flicks. Theme Parks In addition to Dreamworld which we will visit on Friday, the Gold Coast is home to Movie World, Wet n Wild & SeaWorld. We will be allocating rooms via a first in best dressed system, so get your expression of interest in for the room of your choice asap. However availability is always in the hands of Treasure Island, we do won t know what rooms they have left until they inform us. Prices may change. You will be required to secure your accomodation with a non refundable deposit direct to Travel Innes by April 1, ) Performers fees and Spectators fees will be due to the office by June 1, ) Rehearsal schedule will be released during the July School Holidays and rehearsals will commence at the start of Term 3. Rehearsals will be held Sunday afternoons and no more than 2 rehearsals can be missed in the lead up to the event.
