41 REVIEW OF JI S&T COOP 1. During period of 80 and 90 (before the economy crisis) Ministry of Research and Technology (MoRT) sent big number of people from research center or industries study in Japan. However the number decrease significantly after the crisis because MoRT did not get financial support from government. 2. The number of technical assistance is also significantly big during 80 and 90. The establishment one of BPPT lab in Lampung got support from JICA 3. Joint research: institution to institution through gov support (JICA, NEDO, JSPS). Currently : JST-JICA program (SATREPS), E-Asia joint research program OUTPUT 1 ADVICES, ISSUES AND PROBLEM
