2 SEIZURES EFFECTED IN THE ONTH OF DECEBER, 2017 From to , officers of NCB, Hyderabad Sub Zone in coordination with State Excise and other agencies destroyed illicit Cannabis spread over acre of Revenue and Forest land and booked 21 cases in Visakhapatnam. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit in coordination with local administration, State Police, Forest, CAPF, etc. destroyed illicit Cannabis spread over 82 acre of land at Gamaichara and Taibandal areas under PS elaghar, Sub Div. Sonamura in Sepahijala district of Tripura. On , officers of Anti Narcotics Cell, Goa Police seized kg of Hashish and gram of LSD at Pernem, Goa. 01 Israeli national was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit seized kg of Ganja at unjil andal, village Nischintapur, POGaraimari, P.SGaraimari, urshidabad, West Bengal. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit in coordination with local administration, State Police, Forest, CAPF, etc. destroyed illicit Cannabis spread over 31 acre of land at villages under PS elaghar, Sub Div. Sonamura in Sepahijala district of Tripura. On , officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Bareilly seized kg of Hashish at Bareilly. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Sub Zone in association Excise, Forest Department, Odisha Police and other agencies destroyed illicit Cannabis spread over 27 acre of land at village Laliguda PS Adava, Gajapati, Odisha. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Visakhapatnam seized 603 kg of Ganja at Sheelanagar, Visakhapatnam. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, umbai Zonal Unit seized 570 gram of ethaqualone at /s Aramax Courier, Andheri, umbai. 01 person was arrested. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Australia. On , officers of Narcotics Cell, Crime Branch, Delhi Police seized 380 gram of at Delhi. 02 persons including 01 Nigerian national were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Sub Zone in association Excise, Forest Department, Odisha Police and other agencies destroyed illicit Cannabis spread over 32 acre of land at village Chadiapada PS Adava, Dist Gajapati, Odisha. On , officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics, Indore seized kg of ephedrone at adhumin Square, Indore. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, Guwahati Zonal Unit in coordination with local administration, State Police, Forest, CAPF, etc. destroyed illicit Cannabis spread over 55 acre of land at Kalikhola, Ulukhola and Ladrabari areas under PS Jatrapur, Sub Div. Sonamura in Sepahijala district of Tripura. On , officers of NCB, Amritsar Sub Zone in coordination with BSF, Gurdaspur, Punjab seized kg of and 95 gram of opium along with 02 revolvers (32 bore) & 01 plastic pipe. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia.

The suspected destination of the seized drug was France. 03 persons including 01 Nepalese national were arrested. From to , NCB Hyderabad SubZone in coordination with the State Excise, Andhra Pradesh and other agencies conducted Cannabis destruction operation spread over acres of Revenue and Forest land and booked 18 cases in Visakhapatnam District of Andhra Pradesh. On , officers of NCB, Bangalore Zonal Unit seized kg of Ganja at Yelahanka Railway Station, Bangalore. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB, umbai Zonal Unit intercepted a parcel at /s DHL Courier, Andheri, umbai, aharashtra and seized 490 gram of ethaqualone. The suspected destination of the seized drug was Australia. On , officers of NCB, Lucknow Zonal Unit seized 150 gram of at Shaheed Path,Lucknow. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Lucknow Zonal Unit seized kg of Hashish at Lucknow. 02 persons arrested. On , officers of NCB, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit intercepted a truck near Ahmedabad and seized kg of Hashish. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of NCB Bangalore Zonal Unit seized kg of Amphetamine at Bangalore City Railway Station, Bangalore, Karnataka. 03 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Jodhpur Zonal Unit seized kg of Opium from a car at Gegal, Ajmer. 03 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Kolkata Zonal Unit seized 148 blots of LSD and 26.6 gram of DA/Ecstasy at Salt Lake, Kolkata, West Bengal. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of NCB, Cochin Sub Zone intercepted a Venezuela national at International Airport Cochin. He had swallowed 101 capsules containing Cocaine and was admitted in the hospital from to During his treatment he had purged out 101 capsules containing kg of Cocaine. The drug was seized and he was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Brazil. On , officers of NCB,, Sub Zone in association with State Police, Forest, Land Revenue and State Armed Police destroyed illicit Cannabis spread over 22 acre of land at Vill Dunama, under PS Gudari, DistRayagada, Odisha. On , officers of NCB, Chandigarh Zonal Unit seized kg of Hashish at village Sisai, Tehsil Hansi, District Hisar, Haryana. 02 persons were arrested. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Chennai seized kg of ethaqualone at Ponneri High Road, Chennai. 01 person was arrested. On , officers of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Agartala seized bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup at Dhalai, Tripura. 03 person were arrested. On & , officers of NCB, Sub Zone in association with State Police, Land & Revenue and Forest Dept destroyed illicit Cannabis spread over 236 acres of land at Village Rabingia, Gerendi, adapadar, Gajurighati under PS Phiringia, Kandhamal, Odisha. On , Officers of NCB, umbai Zonal Unit seized kg of Cocaine at CSI Airport, umbai. 01 Bolivian national was arrested. The suspected source of the seized drug was Bolivia. On , officers of NCB, Amritsar Sub Zone in association with BSF, Ferozpur, Punjab seized kg. The suspected source of the seized drug was South West Asia. During the month of December, 2017, officers of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) seized 652 gram of, kg of Hashish and kg of Ganja in 10 cases and arrested 12 persons including 05 Nepalese. The suspected source of the seized drugs in most of these cases was Nepal.
