3 Maritime Meeting Room The large mee ng room(s) measures 30' x 75', 2,250 SF, and can be divided into two smaller rooms, each measuring 30' x 37½'. 4 Puget Sound s Premier Waterfront Venue Classroom Breakout Spaces The Explorer and Discovery Classrooms are located in the Chandler Building and are perfect for medium-sized breakout sessions and classes. Each classroom has a 12-foot projector screen, wireless internet, and a Smart- Board. Thanks to the large glass rolling doors that serve as the classroom walls, each classroom can be used separately, joined together for larger groups, or integrated into the mezzanine for gatherings and events. 5 Pilothouse Training Center The Pilothouse Training Center is located on the 3 rd floor of the Chandler Building and features a state-of-the-art mari me simulator for vessel based training exercises as a casual break ac vity or facilitated for team building, or even extensive professional trainings and cer fica ons. Imagine your group working together to bring an enormous tanker safely to port. All the high-sea adventure but in a virtual se ng! First Federal Commons This public outdoor space in the heart of Port Townsend's downtown waterfront is a focal point year-round for community gatherings and mari me ac vi es, from small-boat launchings and landings to seamanship demonstra ons, educa onal programs, music performances, and uniquely NW recep ons! The centerpiece of the Northwest Mari me Center's public outdoor space is the Compass Rose, composed of more than 1,600 pavers engraved with the names of community members whose support and financial contribu ons made this venue possible.
