2 Summary At the most astute time to praise the talent and outstanding contribution in the hospitality industry, AHP in association with Prospurs Pte. Ltd. acknowledged the companies and individuals that pushed the boundaries of excellence, rising above competition and demonstrating exceptional performance. Hospitality Excellence Awards 2017 held on 21st July 2017 at Air Force Auditorium, New Delhi to dignify outstanding achievements in the eld of hospitality industry. The best among the 200s of professionals were bestowed with awards in the presence of Hon ble Member of Parliament & BJP Delhi State President, Mr. Manoj Tiwari, among other top notch names from the Hospitality industry. The six day hospitality challenge saw hospitality professionals from prominent hotels across Delhi & NCR competed in Culinary, Front office, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage Competitions. The Winners of ART OF TOWEL FOLDING is - Abdul Chaudhary from The Westin Sohna, and ART OF BED MAKING - Pradeep Singh from The Oberoi, Gurgaon, The winner of WAR OF SPIRITS is Aman Gulyani from The Leela Palace, New Delhi, The Winner of FRONT OFFICE MASTER is Shruti Behl from Radission Blu (Paschim Vihar), The winners of the Culinary Challenges are INTERNATIONAL CUISINE - Sambhavi Joshi from The Leela Palace, ORNAMENTAL BREAD - Vikas Panthry from Radission Blu, Dwarka, AUTHENTIC INDIAN CUISINE - Baijnath from The Ashok, New Delhi, SWEET SENSATION - Poonam Phulara from The Roseate, New Delhi, DRESSING A CAKE - Monika Rani from Country Inn & Suites, BIRYANI COMPETITION - Vijender Singh Rawat from Radission Blu Dwarka, ORIENTAL CUISINE - Tilak Ram Kami from Pullman & Novotel, Aerocity. The winners of the awards includes Anil Bhandari for the outstanding Contribution to Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Industry, Chef Prem Ram of Banarsidas Chandiwala IHM for Culinary Education, Sunil Khera won the award for General Manager, Sujith Chandrasekharan of The Park for Front Of ce, Poonam Dhamdhere for Housekeeping, Kumar Saswat of Radisson Blu MBD, Noida for Food & Beverage, Neha Dalpatia of The Lalit for Human Resource, Sunita Amola of Jaypee Hotels for Training, G S Walia of Lite Bite Foods for Materials Management, Sandeep Chhabra of THSC for Skill Development & Training, Arvind Rai of The Ashok for Chef, G. P. Gautam of Indian Hotel Academy for Skill Education, R. The fourth edition saw more than 200 professionals on the oor to showcase their innovation and excellence in front of the growing hospitality industry which is making India as the most favored destination.
