The CeBIT team are delighted to be back in our spiritual home of Darling Harbour at the new state-of-the-art International Convention Centre Sydney. It will be a fitting environment for our best ever line-up of speakers and exhibitors. The CeBIT Australia 2017 exhibition will feature thirteen product zones spanning some 5000 m2 of net floorspace that will house over 350 exhibitors and will feature the popular StartUp zone, giving entrepreneurs the chance to showcase their ideas. Add in our networking events that include CeBIT Black and the International Cycling Executives Breakfast with the Bunch and you have an event that will give you not to be missed insights into the fast moving world of business technology. I look forward to seeing you in May at the International Convention Centre Sydney in Darling Harbour. 3 Digital Health 2017 Disrupting the delivery of healthcare services Our agenda will look to understand and discuss the strategic advancement of digital health in Australia. How can we leverage emerging ICT to new health services and new models of care delivery? How can we utilise digital services to better meet the needs of the patient? Featuring over 25 health sector leaders, we will examine the world beyond just ehealth and digital health records. Across the day we ll be looking at the design, delivery and operations of technology enabled health initiatives which are designed to improve health service delivery and health outcomes. Our leading speaker panel will discuss innovations in digital health care solutions, clinical systems, and integrated care. We will discuss how technology can be applied to telehealth through tele assisted diagnosis and screening. The program has some excellent sessions on emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and robotics. We will also look at the complicated area of data management, ehealth records and leveraging big data for health outcomes. The great digital health revolution lies literally in the palms of consumers what if you, as a consumer, were able to take your personal Medicare and Pharmaceutical Benefit Scheme data to a health care service; to an app developer; to a dietician; to a retailer and say how can you deliver the best health services for my individual needs? THE HON SUSSAN LEY MP, MINISTER FOR HEALTH, NATIONAL PRESS CLUB ADDRESS 21 OCTOBER 2015 Analysis in 2015 suggests that the Australian healthcare IT market is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 12.3 per cent between 2013 and 2020, reaching an estimated market value of $2.21 billion by AUSTRADE DIGITAL HEALTH REPORT FEBRUARY
