1 Welcome to MIPIM! Thank you for attending MIPIM this year. There is much to think about to be fully prepared, so we ve designed this kit to help you make the most out of your show. To ensure you start off with a bang, please refer to our Quick Checklist Things to do before the Show Prepare your transportation to Nice airport or Cannes train station. Arrange your transfer to Cannes. Book your accommodation. (if not, book now at and choose from a wide selection of hotels and apartments at special rates). Print out your e-ticket to save time on your badge collection. You can also access your e-ticket on the MIPIM mobile app. Connect to the Online Database on my.mipim.com/online-database to find, out in advance, who else is attending the show, to set up meetings and discover projects. Check the show programme to plan the week around events not to be missed. Download the MIPIM App. With its exhibitors list, full programmes and schedules, interactive floor plans, and Master Guide to Cannes. 2 GETTING TO CANNES 1 BY AIR The nearest airport is Nice Côte d Azur International (NCE), which provides direct flights from many cities around the world. For more information go to GETTING TO CANNES FROM THE AIRPORT 1 TAXI Taxis are available at the Nice Côte d Azur International Airport. Where to catch one: Terminal 1 (Gate A1) and Terminal 2 (Gate A3) T: +33 (0) (24 hours) The journey takes around 30 minutes and fare varies between 70 and 90. Fare includes motorway taxes, but baggage charges must be added to the driver s meter reading. It is normal practice in France to tip the driver (about 10%). It is available Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and operates from 23:30 to 04:10 (every hour and a half) departing Cannes. * hours and time may vary depending on road and traffic conditions. Trains from Nice Saint Augustin Cannes depart every 30 minutes, a one-way ticket costs from 5,90. - Or take the 99 bus to the Nice Ville train station (buses depart every 30 minutes and cost 6). 3 UPON YOUR ARRIVAL 1 USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT CANNES The Palais des Festivals is on the seafront at the end of the famous Croisette. It is clearly signposted throughout Cannes. It provides access to all exhibition areas, conference sessions and networking events during opening hours. Please carry it at all times, and be ready to show it at entry points and security points around the area. Your badge is strictly personal and your photo will appear on security guards monitors when they scan it. Shared badges will be confiscated and not returned. COLLECTING YOUR BADGE 1 REGISTRATION The Registration Area is located on the right of the casino of the Palais des Festivals. Press representatives can pick up their badges at Protocol. Important E-tickets will be sent to you via a few days before the show. Also available in the my-mipim.com database using your personal access codes. They include a barcode for ID recognition. Print it out to collect your badge at a self-service delivery point or scan the QR Code on your smartphone and save time at the registration area. 2 OTHER BADGE COLLECTION POINTS Nice Airport: Visit the MIPIM desk at Terminals 1 & 2. FINDING AN EXHIBITOR All stands at MIPIM have an alphanumeric reference code, derived from aisle and stand placement. Interactive floor plans are available online at mymipim.com or download the MIPIM App, indicating the location of stands and MIPIMservices. You can also use our Online Database (my.mipim.com/online-database) to locate exhibitors by name and contact them directly. A paper floorplan is available on site for you to collect. ON-SITE SERVICES A number of services are available for you during the market.
