BEFORE THE CONFERENCE: Register for your breakout sessions and signup for special events using your PC Agenda Builder. To ensure access for those who have reserved their sessions, we will be checking badges at the door of breakout sessions. Therefore, it is critical that you select your sessions in advance of Policy Conference. To access your Agenda Builder, please log in to your MyAIPAC account at MyAIPAC.org or via the PC16 App (coming soon!). AVAILABLE FOR IPHONE AND ANDROID DEVICES To provide you with a personalized digital companion to the conference, we redesigned the Policy Conference App from the bottom-up. The PC16 App makes your conference experience even easier because it offers quick access to your personalized schedule as well as other important information. You ll find up-to-the minute conference schedule information and personalized notifications and alerts. The PC16 App also contains comprehensive speaker and session listings, maps, transportation information, memos and analysis, and more. Once the PC16 App is available*, follow these easy steps: 1. Download the PC16 App from the Apple App Store or Google Play 2. Log in using your MyAIPAC credentials You ll be asked to provide this information only the first time. 3. Then follow the prompts! The app will ask you to click ok to a few easy prompts. A prompt will ask you to allow access to Salesforce. 8 THE NEW POLICY CONFERENCE APP CONT. The PC16 App has lots of great features designed with you in mind. Starting with the app s home screen, you ll find such tools and information as: A reminder about your next scheduled event, with links to details about the session and a map to get you there. The What s Happening carousel highlights programs and important information about the conference. This will update as the conference progresses. At the bottom of the screen, you ll find personalized push notifications. You can also access your notifications from the alert bell icon on the screen s upper right corner. Use the main menu (on the screen s upper left corner) to access all of the app s features, including a searchable schedule, speaker information and logistics details. And much, much more! 9 DELEGATE CHECK-IN AND SECURITY THE AIPAC POLICY CONFERENCE TAKES SECURITY VERY SERIOUSLY. BADGES MUST BE WORN AND VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES. You must present your badge and a government-issued photo ID when entering any conference venue. The name on your badge and your government-issued photo ID must be a match or near match. For security reasons, please do not photograph your badge or share it on social media at any time. Magnetometers are sensitive to metal. To ensure quicker entrance into conference venues, be prepared to empty your pockets. Place any pins on your lanyard for easy removal. BADGE MAILING Most delegates will receive their badges and lanyards by mail before the conference. Badges will not be mailed to delegates with mailing addresses outside the U.S. BADGE PICK-UP If you have not received your badge in the mail, have forgotten it at home, or need to make a change to your badge, please visit the Delegate Badge Pick-Up Desk at the Renaissance Hotel, located at the address to the right. Badges only may be picked up during the times to the right. You must claim your badge in person; a family member or friend cannot pick it up for you. All children must be registered and have a Policy Conference badge. High school delegates who do not have a governmentissued photo ID may present a current schoolissued photo ID. In the event your badge is lost or stolen, please visit the Delegate Badge Pick-Up Desk and we will void and re-print your badge. Once a badge is voided, it will no longer provide access to conference venues or events. 13 FINDING YOUR WAY CONT. ENTERING THE MARRIOTT MARQUIS HOTEL The main entrance to the Marriott Marquis Hotel is located at 901 Massachusetts Avenue NW between 9th Street and 10th Street NW. Starting 3:00 pm on Saturday, access to the Marriott Marquis will be limited exclusively to Policy Conference delegates. Badges and government-issued photo IDs are required upon entrance at this time. Guests staying at the Marriott Marquis on Saturday should plan to bring their badges with them if they leave the hotel after 3:00 p.m. Once you have passed through security at the Washington Convention Center or the Marriott Marquis, you will not be required to pass through security again as you move between the two venues via the underground concourse. For those walking, the Verizon Center is just four blocks from the Washington Convention Center! There will be multiple entrances into the building. 18 VERIZON CENTER This is an incredible moment for the pro-israel community. The growth of our movement is taking us to D.C. s premier arena the Verizon Center. Located just four blocks from the Washington Convention Center, the 20,000-seat venue will host three General Sessions. In this spectacular space, you ll hear moving stories about pro-israel advocacy and activism, along with speeches by some of the most important leaders of our time. Allow extra time to check out the kosher dining options available for purchase at the Verizon Center. The concession stands will offer arena-style fare, including hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages. 19 GENERAL SESSIONS AND BREAKOUTS GENERAL SESSIONS AT THE VERIZON CENTER We are excited to introduce the Verizon Center as Policy Conference s new venue for Sunday and Monday s General Sessions! When we Come Together at the Verizon Center, you ll experience the power and passion of America s pro-israel movement. General Sessions will include informative remarks by U.S. and Israeli leaders, compelling discussions with newsmakers, and moving personal stories that will offer delegates an unrivaled experience. We don t want you to miss a moment. Please allow extra time to get to the Verizon Center and pass through security, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the pre-show entertainment. To enter the Verizon Center, you will be asked to show your conference badge and a government-issued photo ID. For more information about the security protocol at the Verizon Center, see pages 7-8. 20 GENERAL SESSIONS AND BREAKOUTS CONT. BREAKOUT SESSIONS Policy Conference features more than 450 policy briefings and panel discussions. These breakouts are smaller and more intimate than General Sessions, giving you the opportunity to hear from leading national security and political experts and ask questions. All breakout sessions require advance registration. To enter, you will be required to present your badge for scanning. If you haven t already, please use your Agenda Builder to select your breakout sessions. HOW TO REVIEW/PRINT YOUR CONFERENCE SCHEDULE To review your entire schedule, use your PC Agenda Builder or the new PC16 App (coming soon!). We recommend that you print your schedule before you arrive at the conference. We will notify you when to do so. To review and print your agenda on site, visit one of the Quick Stop Kiosks located inside the Washington Convention Center in the AIPAC Village or immediately outside of Room 146. STAGES Amphitheater With seating for up to 1,500 people, the AIPAC Village Amphitheater will feature presentations from some of AIPAC s top experts, as well as concerts, culinary demonstrations and panel discussions. 270 Stages The AIPAC Village has two In-the-Round Stages, set in the round with seats on all sides. Featuring presentations by groundbreaking Israeli innovators, a diverse mix of AIPAC activists and experts on the issues, the stages will give presenters and participants the opportunity to engage in an interactive setting. INNOVATION SHOWCASES Experience the latest Israeli innovations up close! At the Innovation Showcase exhibit, discover some of Israel s most revolutionary new ideas and technologies. You will experience: Digital exhibits featuring interviews with some of Israel s living legends. The Israel 360 Oculus Rift. View the borders of Israel and its closest neighbors using the latest mobile virtual reality technology. Artists 4 Israel Healing Arts Kits, the only first-aid kits aimed at preventing trauma and PTSD among Israeli children. Appointments take place between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. During your Lobby Caucus Meeting on Monday, you ll meet your lobbying Group Leader and learn how to make the most of your meetings on Capitol Hill from an AIPAC staff member.
