How to stop procrastinating when you have a deadline UN Youth: Young Diplomats Tour This four-week tour will run in January 2018 across nine European countries so that young people can learn about diplomacy in the 21 st Century. Applications are open to students in years and close 7 th May. UN Youth: American Political Tour This four-week tour in December 2017 January 2018 for students to learn about the current state of American politics by travelling around the US and meeting politicians, diplomats, activists, NGOs and more. Applications are open to students in Years and close 7 th May. Express Media: Toolkits Toolkits is a mentoring program for writers aged under 30. It provides one-on-one mentoring from experienced writers, presentations from artists, and the chance to network with other young writers. The program takes place online, so high school students and people living in regional and remote areas are encouraged to apply. Applications should open in May, as in previous years keep your eye on the website for details. The Good Universities Guide: Pros and Cons to a Gap Year High School Students gain Head-Start at University Year 11 and 12 students from the Gold Coast through to the Coffs Harbour region are getting a head start at Southern Cross University, completing a first-year university subject alongside their senior school study. Mission Australian 2017 Survey Mission Australia is calling on Australia s youth to express their concerns and hopes for the future by taking part in the largest annual nationwide poll of young Australians. The 2017 Youth Survey is now open to all Australian youth aged years old, providing a platform for young people to have their say. The survey closes on 31 st July 2017, with results to be analysed and released by the end of the year. Southern Cross Cultural Exchange Information Sessions Information sessions are an opportunity to gain a realistic overview of the process, the countries, the experience and the benefits of combining learning and friendship through student exchange.
