Situated directly across the road from Star City, a spectacular waterfront venue on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, with views of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and magical city skyline. The modern, sleek and stylish ground floor space incorporates several inviting meeting rooms and a main event space, with seating capacity for 800 guests. Doltone House aims to lead the way into the future by providing the greenest venue in Sydney by adopting the environmental initiatives utilised in the building, which are nothing short of inspirational, as the first 6 star green star rated building in NSW.

3 OUR AIM A greener house WE ARE PROUD TO BE HOUSED IN THE FIRST 6 STAR GREEN STAR RATED BUILDING IN NSW. THE ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES UTILISED IN THE BUILDING ARE NOTHING SHORT OF INSPIRATIONAL. THIS HAS LED THE DOLTONE HOUSE GROUP TO CREATE A UNIQUE SET OF POLICIES AND PLANS FOR THE INTERNAL FIT-OUT OF THE VENUE TO ENSURE THEY COMPLEMENT THOSE OF THE BUILDING. BY ADOPTING AND EXPANDING ON THE PRINCIPLES AND PHILOSOPHIES OF THE BUILDING, DOLTONE HOUSE AIMS TO LEAD THE WAY INTO THE FUTURE BY PROVIDING THE GREENEST VENUE IN NEW SOUTH WALES. FOLLOWING THIS IS THE ONGOING EDUCATIONAL PROCESS OF STAFF TRAINING TO ENSURE SUSTAINABILITY IS HIGHLIGHTED IN OPERATIONAL PRACTICES. Structural concrete - An Australian first, made from recycled products. High quality air - 50% higher levels of fresh air supply compared to Australian standards. Lighting connected to occupancy sensors - Daylight sensors are a means of reducing the energy consumption. Waste management and water monitoring - Reducing the degree of landfill waste. Green standard water fixtures are fitted to reduce wasted water usage. Reduced amount of poly vinyl chloride - PVC free electric cabling and plumbing. Air conditioning HVAC system - Uses a refrigerant that has zero ozone depletion potential. Thermal insulation - Avoids the use of ozone depleting substances in both its manufacturing and composition. Environmentally rated carpet - Reducing the impact on the environment from the manufacturing process. Ortech insulation ceiling - Acoustic and thermal-reducing panel that is a low embodied energy product, made from a renewable resource. V-KOOL film on glass - Provides a virtually transparent protective barrier against the sun s heat and radiation. Our menu - Enjoy most foods grown within a 100 mile radius of Pyrmont. This respects local farmers, maintaining a menu that is seasonal and diverse while reducing carbons on transportation. Although not everything in cooking can come within 100 miles, it is up to our chefs to maintain its integrity by partnering with local farmers. The option of more sustainable menus versus 100 mile concept also needs to be highlighted. 4 LOCATION & WATER ACCESS Doltone House Darling Island Wharf is situated directly across the road from Star City Casino. It is a spectacular waterfront venue on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour with views of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and city skyline. Only minutes from the Jones Bay Wharf venue, and Darling Harbour precinct, the venue is within easy walking distance of the CBD, restaurants, shopping and all the attractions that Sydney city has to offer. There are many hotels nearby with a wide variety of accommodation styles. Conveniently situated on street level and directly on the foreshore of the Harbour, Doltone House Darling Island Wharf may be accessed by boat, water taxi, ferry, light rail, monorail, bus, taxi or private transport. Devour The need for a faraway distributor is removed as all produce is purchased directly from our neighbouring farms who make cheese, raise livestock, grow fresh fruit and vegetables and produce fine wine and speciality items. Our nearby farmers are located within a 100 mile radius of the Pyrmont district.
