7 LA CUISINE Organised by the Emirates Culinary Guild, La Cuisine is now the region s largest culinary competition and a favourite meeting point for foodservice professionals. The event in 2016 year hosted more than 1,000 chef competitors from all over the region to compete across 19 different categories. LA CUISINE AIRLINE CATEGORY Launched in 2015, this La Cuisine category adds an additional dimension for the airline sector buyers at the event to understand the changing dynamics of catering in the air. More than 15 chefs participated within this category in 2016 to prepare a lunch/dinner menu for business class passengers on an airline.
