7 COTTM 2014 Our 10th Anniversary And A New Venue! WHY BEIJING? As the Capital of China, Beijing is a natural host for an exhibition like COTTM. COTTM has taken place in Beijing for the last 9 years and is an ideal location to attract the key Chinese buyers. Beijing is home to some of China s largest outbound tour operators, including CITS (China International Travel Service), CTS (China Travel Service) and CYTS (China Youth Travel Service). Beijing Airport is capable of allowing 50 million passengers per year to travel around the world, complimenting COTTM s primary purpose. ABOUT THE VENUE COTTM 2014 will take place at the New Hall at the National Agricultural Exhibition Centre (NAEC), which is conveniently located in Beijing's Chaoyang District. The New Hall will enable the whole COTTM event to be positioned in one big modern hall. The NAEC's great location on the Chaoyang District ring road also allows easy access by car and has ample parking. CHINESE TOURISTS WELCOMING AWARDS The year COTTM 2013 saw the CTW Chinese Tourists Welcoming Award organised for the 9TH time by COTRI (China Outbound Tourism Research Institute) at COTTM. The awards recognise the companies and countries that go the extra mile to accommodate Chinese people and offers excellent products and services that meet their specific requirements when travelling abroad.
