3 Dear Members, 2012 is off to a quick start and it s hard to believe that we are already 5 months into it. We have had some great feedback from our trips so far this year and have some more exciting tours and day trips booked in for the remainder of 2012 and early Just to reconfirm to everyone, when booking day trips a deposit needs to be paid on the day. As I am sure many of you are aware, day trips fill quickly and we have a waitlist on many stage shows. As the trips gets closer we have some people unable to attend the day and need to cancel out or some that forget and do not turn up on the day- they have not paid a deposit or final balance. Unfortunately we have had to enforce that deposits need to be paid to reserve your seat. If no deposit is paid and someone else wishes to go and they have their money then the seat will be sold to them. We are sorry about this but due to having seats left over for several shows at the last minute we have had to review our booking process. Deposits can be $20 to hold the seat and you can pay the rest of as you are able. (Full payment due 2 weeks prior to trip) Thank you again to all our Hoppers for your continued support of the Travel Club. 7 Western Plains Zoo - 8th - 10th October 2012 Dubbo Zoo is fantastic. Day 1, travel out to Dubbo- day 2 spend the day at the zoo, and get an insight into its inhabitants. During the afternoon spend some time at the old Dubbo Jail- then after dinner it s off to the Dubbo Observatory. Great 3 days away. Early Dinner then off to Hunter Valley Garden Christmas Lights - This is said to be a wonderland of Christmas lights that all ages will enjoy. The second day will allow us time to go back into the Gardens or some site seeing around the village shops before heading back to Nowra in afternoon.
