4 Auburn Centre for Community The Centre offers a range of spaces available for hire and provides 4 offices for core tenants to deliver community services and programs. 8 Newington Community Centre Newington Community Centre was originally built and used as the media and conference centre during the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Rooms can be divided by a sound proof petition and used separately or opened up as one large room. 30 chairs in each room 5 tables (1.8m x 0.9m) Whiteboard Rage Cage An enclosed multipurpose outdoor recreation area suitable for basketball, soccer and other recreational activities. On-street parking is available in the surrounding streets and ticketed parking is available in the Newington Marketplace car park (the first 2 hours are free). 13 Community Bus & Picnic Area Location: Auburn Botanic Gardens, Corner of Chisholm and Chiswick Rd, Auburn (The picnic area is located within the Botanic Gardens precinct adjacent to the Duck River and about 400m from the main entrance.)
