All the boys always talked about the amazing crowd support and how incredible it is to play in front of packed stadiums. Schofield OBE Garry is a Rugby League playing legend of the 1980s and 1990s and is a member of the British Rugby League Hall of Fame which comprises the 21 greatest players this country has ever seen, having been inducted in November Garry was also the winner of the 1990 Rugby League World Golden Boot. He represented Hull, Leeds, Balmain, England & Great Britain. Brett Kenny Brett was a natural and thrilled Rugby League crowds throughout the world. He played in 17 Tests, made 17 State of Origin appearances and won 4 premierships with Parramatta. He is considered one of Australia s finest footballers of the 20th century. He represented Parramatta, Wigan, NSW and Australia. Garry & Brett will join us at certain points of the RLWC 2017 and more details will follow. 9 Melbourne / Melbourne Rectangular Stadium Capacity: 30,050 Nestled between the Yarra River and the MCG, the major tenants are NRL team Melbourne Storm, the Super Rugby Team Melbourne Rebels, and the A League teams Melbourne Victory FC and Melbourne City FC Sydney / Sydney Football Stadium Capacity: 45,500 Located in Moore Park in the South Eastern suburbs of Sydney, Sydney Football Stadium was built in 1988 and is Sydney s premier rectangular field venue for Rugby League, Rugby Union and Soccer. The grounds major tenants are the Sydney Roosters, NSW Waratahs and Sydney FC Perth / Perth Rectangular Stadium Capacity: 20,500 Located close to Perth s CBD, the Perth Rectangular Stadium is currently home to 2 major sporting clubs Perth Glory FC and the Western Force. In 2004 the ground was redeveloped, converting it from an oval field to a rectangular field. Auckland / Mt Smart Stadium Capacity: 30,000 Located in the suburb of Penrose, 10km south of the city centre, the Mount Smart Stadium is the home ground of the National Rugby League team, the New Zealand Warriors. 20 HOW TO BOOK You have three options to book an official RLWC 2017 England League tour: Option 1 Book online at You will need to enter full details but we will call to clarify the tour and make sure you understand all the inclusions. Payment can be either deposit or in full. Option 2 Call the office on We can take the booking, answer any questions, work out payment plans if required and process payments. Option 3 Request an order form (by post or ) and once we have received you have 7 days to make payment to confirm the booking. We are delighted to send out copies of the brochure and order forms on request. BOOKING & PAYMENTS Upon receipt of your booking, Glory Days will forward you a written confirmation of all arrangements (subject to availability) together with an invoice for the payments outlined below. Should payments not be received by the nominated date, reservations will be automatically cancelled without notice. If you have bespoke requirements (different flights etc.) the amount of deposit may change but we will outline at the time of booking. We can work out payment plans once the initial deposit has been paid but please call to discuss. For clarification, all amounts are non-refundable after the dates specified above.
