Meet your coach and transfer to Hotel and check in. Dinner DAY 02: AUCKLAND (B, D) Experience Auckland's history, culture and scenic highlights with a half-day morning tour, followed by a trip to Kelly Tarlton's SEA LIFE Aquarium and follow it up with a trip to the famous Auckland Sky Tower..

2 Travel around the city centre and over the Auckland Harbour Bridge with its stunning views of the harbour and city skyline. Visit the Viaduct Harbour and Auckland's famous Queen Street, and enjoy the lush grounds of the Auckland Domain, the city's oldest park. Then continue to the charming Parnell Village, where historic buildings house an interesting range of boutique shops. The tour continues along the waterfront to the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park, named after a much-respected Prime Minister of New Zealand. With panoramic views of the harbour and beautiful formal gardens, it's a great spot to take photos. After a scenic trip back along Tamaki Drive to the city, arrive at Auckland's Sky Tower, the tallest manmade structure in New Zealand at 328 metres high. Prepare yourself for breathtaking 360 degree views from the observation deck of this Auckland landmark. On a clear day you'll be able to gaze as far as 80 kilometres in all directions it's the perfect way to get to know the city of Auckland and its surroundings. Following the city tour we visit Kelly Tarlton's SEA LIFE Aquarium. At this underground visitor attraction you'll experience something truly unique. Come face to face with New Zealand's rich marine environment, including sharks, stingrays, seahorses and other incredible sea creatures. Enjoy an informative encounter with your favourite animals, and journey through the underwater viewing tunnel, the first of its kind in the world. Afternoon is free at leisure. Dinner DAY 03: AUCKLAND WAITOMO ROTORUA (B, D) Breakfast. Check out from hotel and enjoy a scenic tour from Auckland to Rotorua, including a guided tour of the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Leaving Auckland in the morning we travel through the Waikato and King Country regions, passing by flourishing farmland and picturesque countryside. On arrival in the small town of Waitomo, take a trip underground with a 45-minute guided tour through the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves, a series of limestone caves formed over 30 million years ago. Learn all about stalagmites, stalactites and other intriguing rock formations as you walk through the caverns. Your journey to Rotorua continues, passing through the beautiful Fitzgerald Glade where trees arch over the road to form a tunnel of natural greenery. Upon arrival, check into Hotel. Dinner DAY 04: ROTORUA (B, D) Breakfast. Discover three of Rotorua's best visitor attractions on this morning Rotorua sightseeing tour. Gain an insight into New Zealand's Māori culture at Te Puia You'll also see Te Puia's woodcarving and weaving schools and see how these ancient Māori art forms are being passed on to a new generation of master artists. Then see their agricultural industry in action at the Agrodome, a working organic farm where you can find out all about farming life in New Zealand, watch a sheep shearing display and see sheep dog trials where the hard-working farm dogs show off their amazing skills. New Zealand wildlife and natural scenery is on display at Rainbow Springs Nature Park, where you can get up close to all kinds of native flora and fauna including the famous kiwi, a flightless native bird. Wander through native forest and discover New Zealand birds, fish and lizards (including the ancient tuatara), as well as exotic animals from around the world.

3 Balance day is at leisure. Dinner DAY 05: ROTORUA QUEENSTOWN (B, D) Breakfast. Check out from Hotel and transfer to airport for your flight to Queenstown. Upon arrival, proceed to hotel and check in. Dinner DAY 06: QUEENSTOWN (B, L, D) Breakfast. Take an unforgettable journey into the heart of Milford Sound, New Zealand's most famous tourist destination. You'll experience the world-famous fiord in all its natural glory surrounded by dense rainforest, glacier-carved valleys and beautiful waterfalls. Leaving Queenstown, travel in comfort along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and into southern farmland to Lake Te Anau, the largest lake in the South Island. Travel along the lake and into Fiordland National Park. Enter the picturesque Eglinton Valley, a place of ancient alpine forest and gushing waterfalls and one of only a few road-accessible glacier valleys in New Zealand, and take advantage of the photo opportunities on offer along the Milford Road. Enjoy amazing views of the dramatic skyline as you cross the Main Divide of the Southern Alps, with stunning mountain peaks all around. Stop at Monkey Creek and sample some of the purest water in the world (but watch out for cheeky kea - native mountain parrots!). Travel under the mountains through the Homer Tunnel, a 1.2km passageway drilled into solid rock. At Milford Sound, board your Scenic Cruise and set off to explore the region that Rudyard Kipling called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Travel the length of the fiord and out to the Tasman Sea, gliding past glacier-scarred rock walls and waterfalls that tumble through valleys and crash into the sea far below. Lush native forest clings to steep cliffs, while wildlife including seals, penguins and dolphins are regular visitors to the icy waters. Mountain ranges surround the fiord, including Mitre Peak which rises dramatically from the depths to a height of 1,692 metres above sea level. Along the way your captain will provide lively and informative commentary. Your cruise will take place on a modern, purpose-built catamaran with large viewing windows, outdoor decks, panoramic views and warm indoor seating. Midday, proceed on a adventure filed 4WD safari to Glenorchy This scenic safari offers breathtaking mountain and forest views along the shore of Lake Wakatipu towards Glenorchy and the Paradise Valley. Visit the filming locations for Isengard, the Ithilien Camp, Lothlorien forest and the Seat of Seeing/ Battle of Amon Hen, plus yet-to-be-revealed filming locations from The Hobbit trilogy! Beyond Glenorchy we travel up the Dart Valley to the filming location for Isengard, set amongst snowcapped mountains beside the turquoise waters of the Dart River. This setting offers views of Mt Earnslaw and it s hanging glacier, used in the first instalment of The Hobbit trilogy. Explore the Paradise Forest, the location for the Forest of Lothlorien. Leaving Glenorchy and returning towards Queenstown we stop at 12 Mile Delta to explore the location of the Ithilien Camp. 4 DAY 08: QUEENSTOWN (B, D) Breakfast.An exciting day has been planned for you Enjoy Queenstown s famous Shotover Jet followed by a spectacular scenic helicopter transfer landing at the summit of the Skyline Gondola. Appreciate the stunning views high above Queenstown at the Skyline complex and take your time to look around at the various walking tracks, attractions and facilities available. Relax on the outdoor terrace, in the market kitchen café or lounge bar before riding the Gondola down. Dinner DAY 09: QUEENSTOWN FRANZ JOSEPH GLACIER (B, D) Breakfast. Check out and drive to Franz Jospeh Glacier via Arrowtown and visit the AJ Hackett Bungee site. Then, travel along the shores of Lake Wanaka and Hawera to Hasst Pass, the most stunning highway in New Zealand and gateway to World Heritage Westland National Park. Initially the pass travels through the treeless grasslands of Central Otago then at the highest point, the majestic peaks of the Southern Alps and the rivers and rainforests of Westland dominate the landscape. We will continue to travel up the West Coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and takes to the Fox Glaciers. Here you will experience the timelessness of this region and the imposing spectacle of these ancient Rivers of Ice. Arrive Franz Joseph Glacier check into hotel. Balance day at leisure. Dinner DAY 11: FRANZ JOSEPH TRANZ ALPINE CHRISTCHURCH (B, D) Breakfast. Check out from hotel and proceed on one of the world s most scenic rail journeys Tranz Alpine Climb aboard one of the world s most famous train journeys, between Greymouth and Christchurch. Depart from Greymouth and climb through thinks stands of native beech forest. Traverse the might Southern Alps, where spectacular views of the chiselled alpine landscape will take your breath away at every turn. Enjoy thrilling vistas over deep gorges as you travel along the ice-fed Waimakariri River before entering fertile farmlands of the Canterbury Plains as you arrive into Christchurch. Dinner DAY 12: CHRISTHURCH (B, D) O Breakfast.This full day tour includes a scenic tour from Christchurch through the rolling hill country of North Canterbury to Kaikoura; one of the few places in the world that can boast of such nature wonders as those offered by land and sea! 5 Off the coast of the Kaikoura village is a marine environment so rich in nutrients that it attracts some of the most magnificent creatures with which we share our planet. Among them the giant Sperm Whale which can grow up to 20 metres in length and has the largest brain of any animal alive. Not only can you be introduced to the magnificent Sperm Whale, but also to migratory Humpback Whales (June & July), New Zealand's own tiny Hectors dolphin, the high spirited displays of the Dusky dolphins, New Zealand Fur seals and the Royal Albatross. After your encounter with the giants of the sea and marine life, return to Kaikoura and then continue to Christchurch. Dinner DAY 13: DEPART CHIRSTCHURCH (B) Breakfast.
