13 INVESTMENT MARKET COMMENTARY In H1 2017, total investment volume stood at 4.1bn, which is 5% up on the five-year quarterly average. During Q2 2017, the West End saw 1.7 billion transacted, 30% up on the corresponding period last year. Townsend House, Greycoat Place, SW1 Buckingham Court, Buckingham Gate, SW1 110 Tottenham Court Road, W1 Craven House, 121 Kingsway, WC2 Victoria remains one of the West End s most sought after submarkets, with relative capital value and rental growth still achievable compared with other nearby opportunities. The area is dominated by large landlords such as Land Securities and Tishman Speyer who continue to strategically manage the development pipeline resulting in a continued supply of mixed use schemes featuring large open floor plates.
