Tatiana Arinicheva, Director of Investment Department at Tula Region Development Corporation presented the tourist potential of the region during the panel session Enhanced cooperation in tourism, culture

3 4 5 The İzmir International Fair is the oldest tradeshow in Turkey and the member of еру Union of International Fairs. The Fair has been a member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) since 1948 and belongs to the largest international exhibitions. The organizers of the fair traditionally are the Izmir Chamber of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey. The Russian Federation became a country partner of the 86th Izmir International Fair, which was held from the 18th to the 27th of on the territory of the exhibition center Park of Culture in Izmir, Turkey. The main topic was Innovations and Energy. Event program involves meetings at the official level for negotiating the prospects for relationship development between countries as well as presentation of economic potentials of the countries. There are different symposiums, workshops, summits and conferences, which are held as part of the fair. REPRESENTATIVES OF THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY OF PRC AND REPRESENTATIVES OF THE RUSSIAN-CHINESE FUND FOR STRATEGIC INVESTMETS VISITED THE TULA REGION Representatives from the China Association for Chemical Energy Saving Technologies (CACEST) and the Russian-Chinese Fund for strategic investments (RCIF) visited the Tula Region. Zuo Xiaohong, Chairman of the Management Board of Wuhan business company Uji stressed that delegation consisted of the representatives of the largest petrochemical and oil-processing enterprises. The delegation involves businessmen, who are in Russia for the first time. Our visit is a familiarity with Russia, with the Tula Region. We would like to learn more about your region and to find points of convergence for further cooperation, - Zuo Xiaohong said. The investment potential of the Tula Region was represented to the Chinese partners during the meeting. Reference was also made to the status and development of chemical industry in the region. Tula Region Development Corporation told about supporting investors, according to one-stop-shop principle. On top of that, participants of the meeting discussed measures of state support during investment project implementation, including the opportunities for conclusion special investment projects (SPIC). Representatives of CACEST and RCIF attended a number of industrial enterprises of the region. 4 6 7 Events THE FIRST DECLARATION FOR GOODS IS ISSUED IN THE SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE THE FIRST WORKING GROUP MEETING TO ENSURE THE LOADING OF INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES IN THE SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONES The first working group meeting to ensure the loading of infrastructure facilities in the industrial and production type special economic zones was held in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. The meeting was attended by Vyacheslav Romanov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Tula Region, and Oleg Lipatov, General Director of JSC ʺTula Region development Corporationʺ. NEW MANUFACTURING LINE FOR SCA PRODUCTION IS LAUNCHED IN VENYOV A solemn ceremony for launching a new manufacturing line of hygienic production under the trademark at SCA enterprise was held in Venyov. Peter Ericson, Swedish Ambassador to Russia, made a presentation during the ceremony. He noted that the trade and economic relationships with Russia had long and successful being developed. He expressed gratitude to the Tula Regional Government. The first declaration for goods was issued at Novomoskovsk customs post in Tula in accordance with the procedure of a free customs zone. The first equipment batch for champignons growing complex of ʺAgroGribʺ LLC was imported within the framework of the investment project. TULA S BRANDS WILL BE INCLUDED IN GASTRONOMIC MAP OF RUSSIA A presentation of gastronomic brands of the Tula Region to participants of South expedition - Gastronomic map of Russia federal project was held in the Leo Tolstoy State Museum. Ekaterina Shapovalova, Head of the expedition, stressed that engaging Tula brands in Gastronomic map of Russia would allow to promote Tula products to Russian and Global markets and also attract tourists in the region.

5 8 9 TULA REGION IS AMONG THE WINNERS OF THE FIRST COMPETITION IN RUSSIA FOR SUPPORTING TOURISM PROJECTS VEB DETERMINED CANDIDATES FOR QUALIFIED MANAGERS IN THE TULA REGION Vnesheconombank completed a selection procedure for the qualified manager position in 23 pilot entities of the RF. 33 candidates became winners, who will conclude an agreement on cooperation with the Bank and start to seek perspective projects in their regions. Applications from the candidates was proceeded on the platform of Agency for strategic initiatives LEADER-ID from the 13th of April till the 26th of May as a part of VEB s new model implementation for working with the regions. Working of high qualified specialists will be aimed at searching new investment projects in order to replenish a loan book of the Bank. 2 candidates from the Tula Region has been examined. Among them are Lipatov Oleg, JSC ʺTula Region Development Corporationʺ and Dmitry Pronin, Director of Industry Development Fund. INVESTMENT POTENTIAL OF THE TULA REGION WAS REPRESENTED TO AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURERS The XXI International Exhibition of spare parts, auto components, equipment and goods for maintenance support was held in Moscow. Representatives of JSC Tula Region Development Corporation participated in the exhibition. The results of competition on the best projects for development internal and entrance tourism, сcarried out by the Ministry of Culture of the RF and Russian Travel, has been summed. The Tula Region was included in the Top 10 along with Astrakhan, Kaluga, Moscow, Tyumen and Tambov regions, Trans-Baikal Primorsk Territories, the Republic of Komi and St. Petersburg. 485 applications from 75 Russian regions were represented to the qualification team. TULA S PROJECT WAS AWARDED THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION GOVERNMENT PRIZE IN THE FIELD OF TOURISM The prize of the Russian Federation Government was awarded to the project on children s complex establishment Scientific Museum and City of Profession. An author of the project is Alexey Davletshin Tula citizen, General Director of Evrika LLC.

6 Announcement Investment portal of the Tula Region 23-rd International Trade Fair for Travel & Tourism Forum Vocation 2017 will be held September in Central Exhibition Complex (CEC) Expocenter, Moscow. The Fair will be a unique event to discuss innovative solutions of the industry, demonstrate existing products and opportunities for tourism infrastructure, get acquainted with new clients and partners. Such popular directions in the Russian tourism as tours, IT technologies and tourism, business events and congresses, medical and health tourism, exclusive tourism, gastronomy and wine tourism were represented at the Forum.
