117 Patna Ring Road MORTH Government of India has proposed for construction of 4-Lane Ring Road for Patna. NHAI has engaged M/S Jacob as DPR Consultant. The Consultant has suggested the alignment of SH-78 Bihta-Sarmera Road from Kanhauli to Lakhna and from Lakhna to Kachhi Dargah through Greenfield. This stretch will require huge land acquisition. It has been therefore considered to take up the alignment of SH-78 Bihta- Sarmera Road from Kanhauli to Daniawan (55 Km) for 4-lanning. From Daniawan to Fautha, NH-30A, 7 Km will be widened to 4-lanning which is currently widened to 2 Lane with Paved Shoulders. From Fatuha to Kachhi Dargah, 5 Km which is SH-105 will also be widened to 4-lane. Also SH-01 Sadikpur-Pabheri-Masauri Road (39 Km) is being considered to take-up for 4-lanning under this scheme. The total length, =107 Km, does not require any land acquisition for4-lanning.
