2 Eligible Organizations There are four types of organizations/groups (collectively referred to as Eligible Organizations ) that are eligible for priority scheduling of special events, listed below in the following order (unless priority is otherwise specifically described in other parts of the policy, the highest priority shall be afforded to the user listed first, second highest priority shall be afforded to the user listed second, and so forth): 1. City of Martinez. 2. Martinez Area Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Martinez. 3. Martinez Unified School District and Mount Diablo Unified School District. 4. Non profit Community Groups with 501 (c) status in good standing with the State that have received funding from the City 3 out of the past 5 years, or have hosted a special event in Martinez for at least 5 of the past 7 years. The dates and locations listed with events are subject to change due to policy requirements and space availability. See complete Special Event Priority Scheduling and Preferred Status Policy for more details. Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Martinez only: Designate Preferred Status for any special events for which your organization is eligible in accordance with the policy by indicating PS next to the event(s) on the calendar. The City will compile the special event requests of the Eligible Organizations and then finalize the 2019 calendar for public distribution by January 15, Please note that most special events reserved through this priority scheduling process require applications to be submitted at least 90 days in advance unless the special event occurs within the first 90 days of the calendar year.
