18 COLLECTOR / DISTRIBUTOR BRIDGES SOUTH OF FRANKFORD ROAD Southbound collector/distributor bridge Late April: Install bridge beams, work will be performed at night, and requires multiple southbound mainlane closures for staging crane(s) and beams Northbound mainlane bridge - Late April: Demolish rail/deck and set beams for outside widening Northbound frontage road bridge- Mid April: Remove island and shift northbound frontage road/frankford a few feet east, install concrete traffic barrier on west edge of deck and demolish rail/deck for inside widening. 18

19 COLLECTOR / DISTRIBUTOR BRIDGES NORTH OF FRANKFORD ROAD Southbound Collector/Distributor April: Begin drill shaft and substructure installation Construct new southbound Frankford Road exit ramp Mid-to-late summer - Bridge beam installation; will require nightly closures of the southbound mainlanes Northbound Frontage Road Bridge Currently installing drilled shafts, and substructure; bridge upper works to follow. Northbound frontage road shift to pavement expected this summer Northbound Collector/Distributor and Frontage Road Bridges Will follow northbound frontage road completion in the fall. 19

20 SAM RAYBURN TOLLWAY DIRECT CONNECTOR RAMPS Installing drilled shafts and columns at southbound 35E to eastbound Sam Rayburn Tollway and westbound Sam Rayburn Tollway to northbound 35E ramps. Cap forms are on-site! Drilled shafts for eastbound Sam Rayburn Tollway to northbound 35E ramp expected to begin in April. Late April- Expect to begin edge of deck tie-ins to live tollway structure at all 4 connectors. Stripe/shift, install concrete traffic barrier at each location (night work). ROW acquisitions nearing completion on north and southbound frontage road near the SRT. Expect utility relocation work to begin by April. Business access will be maintained at all times. Currently installing drilled shafts and columns at southbound 35E to eastbound and westbound Sam Rayburn Tollway to northbound 35E ramps. 20

21 SOUTHBOUND SRT EXIT RAMP SOUTHBOUND FM 3040/ ROUND GROVE EXIT RAMP Sam Rayburn Tollway exit ramp will be widened and striped/shifted to allow for permanent wall drainage installation Night work in mid April Southbound exit ramp to FM 3040 will be shifted north onto new asphalt and concrete pavement Night work to take place in April 21

22 SOUTHBOUND WIDENING FOX AVENUE TO FM 3040 FOX AVE. SH 121 BUS CORPORATE DR. FOX AVE Daily frontage road closures for permanent drainage/utility install, excavation/embankment, mix/remix lime treat, permanent asphalt and concrete paving 22

23 NORTH AND SOUTHBOUND MAINLANE WIDENING EXTENDED TO VALLEY RIDGE By late April Traffic shifts of north and southbound lanes to inside median up to Valley Ridge Valley Ridge Drainage, grading, and retaining wall work. College Ave 23

24 FM 407 North header has been sealed with AC pavement. Additional asphalt and concrete paving into May. Setting wall coping to be followed by slip rail in May. Grading FM407 roadway Asphalt and concrete paving start in late April. Southbound mainlane bridge All beams set as scheduled. Placing bridge decks in late April and early May. Closure of FM 407 bridge scheduled for late May South header has been sealed with AC pavement. Additional asphalt and concrete paving into May. Setting wall coping to be followed by slip rail in May. Grading operations have moved south to Grandys Lane and will continue into May. 24

25 COPPERAS BRANCH PARK EAST Copperas Branch Park East is currently in punchlist mode Subcontractor expects to complete by end of April Environmental mitigation continues Invasive species removals completed last week, new plantings will finish late April 25

26 GARDEN RIDGE AND COPPERAS BRANCH PARK EAST Garden Ridge is advancing Two bent caps needed for substructure Retaining wall will continue to abutment and then turn west; wire wall required for phase 2 (northwest Garden Ridge Boulevard) Beam placement rescheduled for May Nightly closures of two mainlanes, traffic stopped for up to 20 minutes to hoist and set each beam (night work) SPAN 1 SPAN 2 SPAN 3 SPAN 4 SPAN 5 Nightly northbound mainlane closures to install drill shafts and construct columns and cap at Bent 4 26

28 LAKE LEWISVILLE Southbound frontage road at portion of Lewisville Lake south of Highland Village Road Currently working on southbound frontage road detour. Traffic will be placed onto new alignment between Highland Village Road and Garden Ridge Boulevard within the next month. 28

29 HIGHLAND VILLAGE ROAD Expect nightly flagging operations towards the end of April for road widening along southern side of Highland Village Road (approximately 3 weeks). This fall, traffic will be diverted onto new Park Access Road and Highland Village Road will be temporarily closed until new bridge is opened. 29

31 SOUTH DENTON/LAKE DALLAS/OAK DRIVE Daily lane closures on Oak Drive Flagging operation for one lane Installation of raw water line tie-in Complete mid-april Spring 2016 South Denton/Lake Dallas bridge is demolished New Turbeville/Hundley connection will be open before bridge is demolished Oak Drive 31

32 LAKE CITIES TRAFFIC CHANGES April North Denton/Lake Dallas Drive bridge is converted to southbound traffic only Access to Chili s maintained; building new temporary pavement alongside the frontage to access Chili s Exit 457 Converted to entrance ramp Entrance ramp near Lake Hill Drive currently being converted to a temporary exit ramp Ramp conversions to be completed by first week of May Late bridge will be demolished The frontage road between Hickory Creek Road and Oak Drive will be a two way. South Denton Drive bridge remains a two way.

33 ACCESS TO LAKE HILL ROAD Local traffic will use Ventana Road to Point Vista and then Turbeville Road to the southbound frontage road 33

34 MAYHILL ROAD Nightly lane closures as crews rehab the southbound mainlaine outside shoulder between Post Oak and Loop 288 Nightly closures under Mayhill as new deck is constructed on the northbound bridge 34
