Event Date 21 22, July Venue Gymkhana Venue is located on Jl Pahlawan, in the center of Semarang, the capital of Central Java, and a 10-minute walk from the Official Hotel.Will be use single course which by closing public road with asphalt / tarmac surface 1.9. Supplementary Regulations The Suplement Regulations will be released on June 12, 2017 and it is the main draft. If you have any questions or suggestions, you are welcome to comment. The principle is generally fixed, but we can modify some details to make it perfect. The Event will be run in compliance with the International Sporting Code (and its appendices), the 2017 Asia Auto Gymkhana Competition General Regulation and the Supplement Regulations Eligible Driver Minimum age for driver is 18. Driver must be the same nationality as the ASN he/she represents. Driver must be nominated by the ASN of his nationality. Driver must be the holder of at least an ASN License. The total number of drivers in each event will be limited to 32. Each ASN can nominate no more than two drivers for this event except the hosting ASN. Hosting ASN may enter extra drivers in order to fill up remaining slots for both Individual and the Team Competition.. 5

6 1.11. Eligible Car 6 (Six) show room cars will be provided by the Organiser to be exclusive use in this event. The car will be used is TOYOTA,type AGYA, hatcback sedan, 1200 cc, front wheel drive, manual transmission, right hand drive Drivers will pick up their cars in rotating order each run. No switching of cars is allowed throughout the entire event, unless incur mechanic problem which comfirmed by the chief scrutineer and aproved by the COC and the Stewards Eligible Team Each team is composed by two drivers with the same nationality and nominated by their representing ASN. The team will be led by the ASN Delegate as team manager or his/her appointed representative (including the drivers) In case an ASN doesn t nominate a team to attend this event, two drivers from this country may create a private team, provided that their eligibilities are conditional to the no objection letter from their ASN. However this private team is not eligible to collect travel subsidies from the Organizer Awards The top six drivers in the individual qualify session will be awarded with Individual Trophy each. The top four drivers in the individual knockout session will be awarded with Individual Trophy each. The winner of the individual knockout session will also be awarded with 2,000 USD prize money. The top four teams in the Team Competition will be awarded with Team Trophy each. The winner in the Team Competition will also be awarded with 3,000 USD prize money. 6

10 4. ENTRY DETAILS 4.1. General Undertaking is defined as an experimental zone championship. Composed This competition is defined as an experimental zone championship. It consists of several events that are a series of events in several countries and are only followed by national team drivers appointed by each single ASN event in one country or several individual events in various Countries and only followed by national teams nominated by each ASN Entrant s Application The number of driver entries for this event will be limited to 32, and two per ASN (except the hosting ASN). The entry form will be sent to the Organiser via the ASN with its stamp and driver s photo before the entry closing date on July 8th Entry Fee The entry fee for each ASN Team (2 drivers) is 100 USD. 5. ACCOMODATION AND TRANSPORTATION 5.1. Accommodation Three nights free accommodation on July 2017 for each ASN Team will be provided by the organizer. One room for ASN Delegate and one twin-bed room for the two drivers to share. Any extra room for accompany personnel will be paid on their own at 60 USD/night Deluxe Room, include breakfast Officiall Hotel The official hotel is Hotel Ciputra Semarang located on jl. Simpang lima no.1, Semarang, near the Auto Gymkhana Venue, within a 10 minute walk Local Transportationn Arrival & Departure local transfer between Ahmad Yani Internatioal Airport / Semarang City and the Official Hotel will be arrange by the organizer without charges. The private trip local transportation will depend on Taxi at own expenses. Attached flight schedule is need to be fulfilled and send to the organizer. You should order direct flight from the International Airport Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta to Semarang before traveling to Indonesia Shutle Bus from Hotel Ciputra Semarang to/from Gymkhana Venue every 30 minutes 5.4. Air ticket Subsidies Only Two nominated drivers from each Asian Zone ASN will be subsidized. The air ticket subsidy amount for each driver will be referring to the distance between Jakarta and the driver s country. North East Asia Sub-Zone : 50% of the ticket fare and limited to 500 USD. Chinese Sub-Zone : 50% of the ticket fare and limited to 500 USD 10

11 South Asia Sub-Zone : 50% of the ticket fare and limited to 300 USD South East Asia Sub-Zone : 50% of the ticket fare and limited to 200 USD Oceania Sub-Zone : 50% of the ticket fare and limited to 300 USD A copy of air ticket from driver s country to Jakarta is need for receiving the subsidy. Round trip from Jakarta to Semarang is on own expense. Daily direct flight to/from Jakarta Soekarno Hatta International Airport from/to Semarang, in 1 hr 10 mn flight time, and the airfare is around 37 USD, one way. Note: To continue International flight please take destination to Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta Intenational Airport, not to Jakarta Halim Perdanakusumah Airport destination. 6. Qatar; 6.2. Fact about Semarang City Is a city on the north coast of the island of Java, Indonesia. It is the capital and largest city of the province of Central Java. It has an area of square kilometres ( sq mi) and a population of approximately 1.8 million people, making it Indonesia's fifth most populous city and the fifth largest Indonesian city, after Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Medan The city's name derives from the Javanese words "asem" and "arang" which literally translate to "scarce tamarind." More a business than tourism destination, it nevertheless has its own charm with contrasting modern mid-rises, Dutch colonial architecture, Chinatown, and small "kampong" jutting against each other. 11

12 The city's weather is hot and humid, so wear light-coloured cotton clothes. You do not need a long-sleeved shirt, instead a T-shirt and knee-long trousers are comfortable. However, some places such as mosques (masjid) and temples require polite dress such as long trousers/skirts. Hot pants/mini skirts will attract people's attention in ways you might not like and might be considered impolite. Semarang is off the tourist trail and knowing even basic Javanese or Indonesian will be helpful (and courteous), although younger educated people can often speak some English. Semarang's Airport is Achmad Yani International Airport, quite nearby from the city centre. Daily flights are available to many major cities in Indonesia. Garuda Indonesia, AirAsia, Citilink, Lion Air, and Sriwijaya Air fly to Jakarta daily. Wings Air, Sriwijaya Air, Garuda Indonesia, and AirAsia also has a daily flight to Surabaya. Wings Air are also provides daily flight to Denpasar- Bali. Lion Air has also expand their flight route from Semarang to Balikpapan and Banjarmasin in Kalimantan. Trigana Air/Kalstar and Indonesia Air Transport also flies daily to Pangkalanbun. Semarang is also connected to international destinations Singapore by SilkAir and AirAsia, and Kuala Lumpur by AirAsia. Borobudur Temple About 60 km to the south of Semarang city is a Buddhist temple called Borobudur. Borobudur is a Buddhist stupa and temple complex in Central Java, dating from the 8th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site This is one of world's truly great ancient monuments, the single largest Buddhist structure anywhere on earth, and few who visit fail to be taken by both the scale of place, and the remarkable attention to detail that went into the construction. Set as it is in the heart of the verdant Kedu Plain, the backdrop of mighty active volcanoes only enhances the sense of awe and drama. 13 6.3. Weather Climate : Indonesia has largely equatorial tropical climate tempered by trade winds. There are only two seasons, the dry Season between June and October, and the rainy season from November to March.
