EURO meetings are intended to be forums for communication and cooperation among European Operational Researchers. Being broadly oriented, they are intended to be international meetings of Operational Researchers who are active in all the diverse special areas of Operational Research and to the free exchange of knowledge, experience, new ideas and promising results relating to the research and practice of OR. In the 40-year history of the EURO-k series, the conferences have been held in 18 different countries. Each edition gathers thousands of researchers, thanks to the attractiveness of the EURO association itself which hosts more than 30 important national Operations Research societies (Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey and United Kingdom). For this 29th edition, the Organization Committee is devoted to giving sponsors a key and central role in the event. Exhibition space is where all the action takes place, right next to all rooms where talks will be given and in the middle of coffee breaks. EURO 2018 is intended to be a forum for communication and cooperation among European Operational Researchers; it is also intended to be an international meeting of Operational Researchers who are active in all the diverse special areas of Operational Research and to serve the free exchange of new ideas and promising research results.
