2 PART 1 General Information and Instructions Overview Part 1 provides General Information and Instructions for the Department of Airport s (Department) Automated Concession Agreement Request for Proposals (RFP) at Sacramento International Airport (Airport). 3 Section A The Request for Proposals Solicitation of Proposals The Department is soliciting proposals for an Automated Concession Agreement (Agreement) at the Airport. This RFP will result in one or more companies being awarded automated concession privileges for the installation and operation of automated concession machines in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement attached to this RFP as Attachment 1. Term and Effective Date of Agreement The Agreement shall be effective upon approval by the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors (Board). The term of the Agreement shall expire five (5) years from the date of installation of the automated concession machine(s). Pacific Standard Time (PST) Location: Sacramento International Airport Attn: Jennifer Simkins 6900 Airport Boulevard Sacramento, CA Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting is scheduled for October 2, 2018 October 16, 2018 at the Airport. This meeting will be held from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm PST in the Terminal B Administration Conference Room at Sacramento International Airport, 6900 Airport Boulevard, Sacramento, CA From the second floor of Terminal B, take the Administrative Offices elevator, located behind the second floor restrooms, up to the fourth floor. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the requirements and objectives of this RFP. 5 received prior to and during the meeting. All questions and requests for clarification shall be submitted to Jennifer Simkins at or via US mail at, 6900 Airport Boulevard, Sacramento, CA Questions are to be received by the Airport no later than 2:00 pm PST on October 4, 2018 October 18, Airport representatives will provide an answer to all questions received by the deadline, in the form of an Addendum to be posted on the Department website by the Addenda deadline stated above. To make reservations to attend the Pre-Proposal Meeting, please either call (916) or Reservations will be accepted for the Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting through October 1, 2018 October 15, A tour of potential locations will be offered; therefore, each attendee must bring valid government issued photo identification. No more than three (3) representatives from any one (1) registered company will be permitted to attend the Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting. Please ensure that you have received confirmation of your reservation. Right to Cancel/Reject The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received or to cancel the award of the Agreement without liability to the proposer at any time before the Agreement has been fully executed by all parties and approved by the Board.
