3 What is the concept of Flow Centric Operations? «To increase performance, ATM modernisation should look at the flight as a whole, within a flow and network context, rather than segmented portions of its trajectory as it is the case today. With this in mind, the vision will be realised across the entire ATM system, offering improvements at every stage of the flight.» European ATM Master Plan 3

5 Collaborative Advanced Planning An innovative collaborative process to find the best flow management measure with aircraft operators to alleviate traffic hotspots This solution will reduce traffic flow regulations to a minimum CAP initiates a direct relation between the operational units of the ANSP, the Network Manager (EUROCONTROL) and the involved airlines.
