1 Ancillary Fees Comparison Chart Updated June 20, 2012 The information provided summarizes the ancillary fees of a representative sample of the major airlines. Most airlines provide exemptions for bag and seat fees for frequent flyer status, full fare and premium passengers. Checked baggage policies vary by airline, destination, frequent flyer status, booking class, bag size and weight. Fees may apply if you plan to check a bag or if you plan to carry sports equipment or an odd-shaped item, or if your bag exceeds airline weight/size limits. Please note that airline policies can change without notice. The information provided herein is for general guidance only and World Travel, Inc. is not liable for deviations that individual airlines may apply. Fees may vary from those noted here, especially in international markets. As of June 20, 2012, DOT s baggage disclosure rules require that all e-ticket confirmations include: free baggage allowances and applicable fees for the first and second checked bag and carry-on, or they must contain a hyperlink to the information.
