7 BEECHCRAFT KING AIR LOR-1 REVISION PROCEDURE REVISION PROCEDURES This training program is maintained by the Compliance Office and is revised upon request by flight training management, senior management, or the FAA. Revisions will be sequentially numbered with the 4-character year followed by a two-character numeric revision for that year this format xxxx-xx (e.g ). Each page in the document will be dated and include its revision number. Revision numbers, change bars, highlighting, and dates on pages are amended only when something on that page changes. To show revised material, amended pages may make use of any reasonable combination of strike-through and/or highlighting to show revised or added text. Except for page headers and the control and log of revision pages where highlighting only is used, vertical bars are used to show the span of amended or deleted text. When strike-through is used to show deleted text, that deleted text may be removed the next time another revision is made to that page. Whenever the program is amended, the assigned FAA inspector(s) will be provided with an entire PDF copy of the revised program for their approval. Once FAA approval is received, an electronic copy of the newlyapproved program will be stored on the Production drive including FAA-signed control pages. An up-to-date printed copy of this training program will be maintained in the Compliance office. INTERIM REVISIONS Between permanent revisions to this program, it may be necessary to provide an interim revision on short notice. To ensure that needed amendments can be put into use promptly, the following procedure may be used as needed between revisions: Interim revision need is identified and the work request is sent to the Compliance office. Compliance office consults with the appropriate parties and generates an interim revision. Proposed interim revision is sent to the TCPM by the Compliance office. If the TCPM approves of the interim revision, written approval is provided. Note: An from the FAA constitutes written approval. The written approval will be retained in printed or digital form to show authorization for the interim revision until the amendment is included in a future permanent revision. A yellow page insert will be added to the appropriate place in the training program clearly identifying the interim revision. An with the details of the interim revision will be provided to flight training managers. Program Managers will advise their instructors if the interim revision will impact instructor duties. The interim revision will be submitted for permanent approval on the next revision cycle, the interim revision will be removed from the document once permanent approval has been received. Succeeding permanent revisions will identify any included interim revision(s).

Students not possessing an USA FAA ATP-AMES rating must present original knowledge test results plus the original CTP course completion certificate and have passed the ATP knowledge test within the appropriate time period prior to taking the practical test, have the aeronautical experience prescribed in either 14 CFR Part or , be at least 23 years old (61.159) or 21 years old (61.160) and be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language. Any student that does not meet the specific requirements of FAR will be issued an ATP certificate with the applicable limitations per FAR and/or , see , 5-713, Para K. 1) a) & b). Note: Unless the ATP written exam score is 100%, enrollees must present a logbook endorsement from an authorized instructor in accordance with FAR prior to being administered the ATP practical test. Endorsement only required if taking an ATP practical test concurrently with the type rating practical test. Endorsement not required if enrollment is based on a foreign ATP certificate. BE-200 Re-Training Curriculum (Specialty Curriculum) (FAR 61.49) Student must have completed a FlyRight BE-200 Initial or Recurrent Curriculum where an ATP and/or Type Rating was sought, and the practical test was disapproved. NOTE 1: The intent of the re-training curriculum is to insure that students receive needed additional instruction from an authorized instructor after being disapproved for a practical test. This re-training focuses on the area(s) noted as deficient during the practical test. NOTE 2: Prior to re-taking the Practical Test student must receive a new practical test recommendation from the authorized instructor who provided the applicant with the additional ground or flight training. The Student Record Ground Course form is used for the new recommendation after re-training for oral test disapprovals and the BE-200 Simulator Retrain form is used for retraining after a disapproval for the flight portion of the practical test. NOTE 3: If the student fails the oral portion of the practical test, the simulator portion of the practical test may not be administered. For an oral test failure, the student must receive ground retraining based on the areas noted as deficient during the oral portion of the practical test and receive a written recommendation from an authorized instructor who gave the applicant the additional ground training before re-taking the practical test. NOTE 4: If the student fails the simulator portion of the practical test, the presumption is that student previously passed the oral portion of the test and requires additional flight training only.

25 GROUND TRAINING BEECHCRAFT KING AIR GTA-1 ADMINISTRATION GROUND TRAINING ADMINISTRATION GROUND TRAINING ADMINISTRATION 1. The primary objective of ground training is to provide students with the necessary knowledge for understanding airplane systems, the use of the individual system components, the integration of that systems knowledge towards future flight training, and applicable operational procedures. Upon completion of a specific ground training module, such as hydraulics, the student will be sufficiently prepared to complete the corresponding flight training modules. Ground training is conducted using FAA-approved courseware. Instructional delivery method is either Instructor-Led classroom instruction or Computer-Based Instruction, with training aids such as ground and flight training devices. 2. Integrated Ground / Simulator / Flight Training. FlyRight Inc. will utilize training aids and devices in conjunction with the visual flight simulator. Classroom instruction and ground training devices are used during ground school training and are available to trainees in later training phases. 3. Systems Integration and Cockpit Procedures Training gives students the hands-on experience which can greatly facilitate the transfer of learning to the flight simulator. Integration of the training aids and devices used in ground training with the simulator maximizes the training and testing process. 4. Instructor Qualifications. FlyRight instructors must complete the appropriate sections of initial or recurrent (as applicable) aircraft and instructor training and be listed as an instructor with the needed curriculum authorizations and qualifications per FAR and Each instructor must meet the requirements of FAR

26 GROUND TRAINING BEECHCRAFT KING AIR GTA-2 ADMINISTRATION GROUND TRAINING ADMINISTRATION 5. Completion Standards and Testing At the completion of ground training the student will be proficient in all required airplane systems. The student will have received instruction in and be proficient in normal, abnormal, and emergency operating procedures. The student will be able to demonstrate knowledge of airplane performance plus aircraft systems and limitations. During ground instruction each student will be administered review questions on specific modules to ensure students have a good command of course material. At the end of specified courses, per the curriculum segment index, a test is given to students. A score of 80% or better, corrected to 100%, is considered passing. Students receiving less than an 80% score may immediately retake another version of the test. If the student scores 80% or better on the second test, that test is corrected to 100% and the ground curriculum is complete. If the student scores less than 80% on the second test, the aircraft type s Program Manager, the Chief Instructor or the Training Center Manager will determine the deficient areas and will either assign the student to additional training in the deficient modules or terminate that student s training. No student may begin simulator training in an ATP and/or Type-Rating course until they have successfully completed ground training. At the completion of ground training students must possess sufficient knowledge to allow them to pass the oral portion of the practical test to the standards of the applicable FAA Testing Standards document. 6. Training Records Instructors are responsible for properly completing student training forms. For ground training, the instructor s initials, a pass/fail grade, an additional training (AT) selection (if applicable), and a date by each module on the back of the form confirm attendance and verify satisfactory performance on those modules. If the module was via CBT the instructor must place a check in the CBT column. Details of student records, courses completed, and other training center records are maintained in accordance with FlyRight Inc. s FAA-approved Record-Keeping System.
