1 ANALYSIS OF SCHEDULED AIRLINE TRAFFIC October 2016 Passenger volume Pittsburgh International Airport enplaned passengers totaled 379,979 for the month of October 2016, a 7.0% increase from the previous month and a 1.9% increase above October Combined enplaned and deplaned traffic for October 2016 totaled 756,583 passengers. October 2016 shows a 6.7% increase from the previous month and a 1.8% increase above October Year to date, all scheduled carriers combined are up 2.8%. Year to date total airport passenger traffic is up 2.1%. Aircraft operations Aircraft landings by scheduled passenger carriers are up 2.7% compared to September October 2016 shows a 0.5% decrease over October EDM 11/18/16 The airport recorded 12,222 aircraft operations (take off & landings) in October 2016 compared to 12,348 in October 2015, a 1.0% decrease. Total aircraft operations are down 0.6% year to date. The airport recorded 11,063 commercial operations (take off & landings) in October 2016 compared to 10,976 in October 2015, a 0.8% increase.
