Their years of experience in both the cockpit and the cabin drove the design of this aircraft. Working with Gulfstream, they collectively designed this interior to accommodate up to 17 passengers in four distinct seating sections making this is one of the most usable and comfortable G650 interiors in the world. Seating: The spacious fire blocked cabin consists of six (6) single seats, two (2) double seats, one (1) forward 3 place divan, and two (2) aft 3 place divans. The two aft divans each have two seats certified for taxi, takeoff and landing. The single seats offer telescoping headrests with flexible wings, electric lumbar, leg rests, berthing capability, base cushion tracking, recline, tracking, limited swivel, and inboard armrests containing 12.1 widescreen HD LCD personal monitors. The double seats feature telescoping headrests, electric lumbar, tracking, recline, and limited swivel (inboard seats only). The inboard and center armrests feature drop down capability. All three divans are manually berthable (berthed depth up to 39 ) and each features various storage compartments and a sleeper belt. The cockpit features two adjustable pilot seats with armrests. Crew Rest Compartment: Located in the aft cabin compartment behind the mid to aft cabin bulkheads, this FAR Part 135 crew rest area is active when occupied by a crew member and meets the three crew/12 hour limitations to be used as a crew rest. A privacy system is installed including a removable acoustical curtain. 15 Interior continued: The entryway vestibule features a left hand storage cabinet containing a 5.7 touch screen control panel and the cabin entertainment system equipment. A fiber optic viewing port is mounted in the forward bulkhead for viewing of the main entrance area when the door is closed. The cockpit features a vestibule curtain, the galley features an electrically operated sliding bulkhead pocket door providing privacy to the forward cabin, the mid cabin features bulkheads with an electrically operated sliding pocket door, and the aft lavatory features a hinged door providing privacy to the aft cabin and lavatory. Another solid door separates the aft lavatory from the baggage compartment. Multiple 115VAC/60Hz outlets are located throughout the cockpit, vestibule, lavatories, cabin, and baggage compartment for crew and passenger use, with certain outlets designated for installed equipment or for ground service. Gulfstream s signature large oval windows are found throughout the vestibule, cabin, and aft lavatory allowing for ample ambient lighting and spectacular views from aloft. All cabin windows feature electrically operated fabric covered, pleated window shades with light filtering and darkening capabilities. Cabin Management: Gulfstream s Cabin Essential design philosophy is engaged throughout this versatile and sophisticated Gulfstream Cabin Management System (GCMS). Touch screen passenger control units consisting of Apple ipod Touch handheld devices, as well as other control interfaces are located throughout the cockpit, cabin, galley, and lavatory areas to provide crew and passenger access to the various cabin systems such as attendant call, lighting, environmental and water systems, electric window shades, audio, video, and entertainment systems. Cabin Entertainment: A three zone (an optional upgrade from the standard two zone) divided cabin audio system with multiple speakers, subwoofers, and amplifiers is provided for passenger enjoyment and is controlled through the cabin management system. Headphone controls and a headphone jack are located at each cabin seat except for the divan s center seats. An external color camera system with three (3) standard definition cameras is provided for passenger and crew viewing and is interfaced to the cockpit and cabin video systems. Communications & Data: Crew and passengers are provided digital voice communication capabilities via an Aircell Axxess II Iridium Telecommunications System with five (5) handsets: one (1) corded cockpit handset, and four (4) wireless cabin handsets, all capable of being programmed with a unique number.
