Driving in the Airside Operational Area 6.1 Contractor staff who is required to drive any vehicle within the Airside Operational Area must possess a valid Hong Kong driving licence for the class of vehicle to be driven and an ARA Permit with D endorsement. Details are provided in the Airside Driving Handbook. 6.2 The Contractor s supervisor, foremen and drivers are required to attend a briefing on airside safety requirements relating to vehicle operations inside the Airside Operational Areas. 6.3 Since the site locations and environment for each individual contactor are different, their permitted vehicle access routes will vary accordingly. In this regards, the vehicle access routes for various contractors are to be defined separately in accordance with their specific operational requirements.
