Long Weekends and Public Holidays A minimum stay of 2 nights is required if a Friday or Saturday night is included. A minimum stay of 3 nights will apply for Long Weekends, Easter Weekends, Christmas and New Year. 4 General Information Children The lodge does not have entertainment facilities for children. Children over the age of 12 are considered adults and will be charged the full rate. Children under the age of 12 will be charged 75% of the standard rates. Payments Bookings will only be confirmed once a 25% deposit has been received. Full payment will be required 30 days prior to arrival date. Full payment will be required for all reservations made < 30 days prior to arrival. Arrival and Departure Times Check-in: 14:00 to 18:00 Check-out: 10:00 Guests who wish to arrive earlier or check-out later will be charged a day rate of R300 per person. No Show Policy Rooms will automatically be released if guests have not checked in by 18:00, unless prior arrangements have been made for a late check-in. Cancellations Policy Cancellations must be submitted in writing and will forfeit the deposit paid. Cancellations received 2 to 4 weeks prior to arrival shall forfeit 75% of the total amount. Cancellations received within 2 weeks of arrival shall forfeit 100% of the total amount. Private transfers All prices are per booking, per person from Johannesburg International Airport or central city hotels in Sandton or Pretoria, using an air-conditioned minibus (one suitcase per person). A 25% surcharge will apply for transfers outside of these hours (during peak traffic times). Special quotes can be requested for transfers to the lodge on Friday afternoons after 2pm. Note that all transfers are done by an independent operator and rates are therefore subject to change at their sole discretion without prior notice.
