9 As per principle adopted by STA for allotment of rationalised slots, two consecutive slots cannot be allotted to vehicles touching both Cuttack and Kondrapara. Since slot No.95, category B down trip has been allotted to Biswa Ranjan Jethi, owner of vehicle ODO5W-3815, vacant slot No.94, category B down trip is allotted to Sri Bijaya Kumar Nayak in respect of vehicle ODO5S and slot No.96, category B down trip is allotted to Sri Madan Mohan Sahoo, owner of vehicle OR16D Consequent upon allotment of slot No.96 category B down trip allotted to Madan Mohan Sahoo, slot No.117, category B down trip remain vacant which is allotted to Sri Bijaya Kumar Nayak. 2) Soumendra Nath, owner of vehicle OR05Z4995 has applied for allotment of slot no-90 in category-a up trip. 12 Balaram Bhuyan, owner of vehicle ORO2AL-3357 became single applicant and accordingly slot No.178, Category A down trip is allotted to him. 10) Dillip Kumar Singh, owner of vehicle OD05U5656 (Model-03/2016) & Chittaranjan Mishra, owner of vehicle OD05Z3642- (Model-06/2015) have applied for allotment of slot-130 in category-a down trip. Dillip Kumar Singh, owner of vehicle OD05U5656 proposed to cover Cuttack to Bhubaneswar in 45 minutes in both the trips. It was decided in principle that 2 hours 20 minutes time is required (both running and halting time) to cover from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar. The vehicle operated by Sri Singh could not avail slot No.130 in category A down trip after performing journey from Bhubaneswar to Cuttack. Therefore application for allotment of slot No.130, category A down trip is rejected. Sri Chittaranjan Mishra, owner of vehicle OD05Z3642 being single applicant whose application placed in Committee meeting held on , slot No.130 category A down trip is allotted to Sri Mishra. 25 Keeping in view the interest of travelling public it was decided in principle that buses touching Cuttack and Kendrapara would be followed by buses touching Cuttack, Kendrapara and Pattamundai so as to widen gap between services touching Cuttack, Kendrapara and Cuttack, Kendrapara and Pattamundai. As per final rationalised timing slot No.53 and 55 have been allotted to buses touching Cuttack and Kendrapara and not touching Pattamundai. If the application of Sri Patra is taken into consideration for allotment of slot No.54, Category B down trip, then there would be continuous plying of buses touching Cuttack and Kendrapara consecutively which is contrary to norms finalised for rationalisation of timing and it would be not in the interest of travelling public.
