CTA Traffic Volumes Have Increased 0,0-4 In Summer 2014, the highest single day traffic volume in the CTA was 89,690 vehicles. In Summer 2015, that volume was exceeded on 34 days.

The highest single day volume in the CTA that summer was 95,259 vehicles. In Summer 2016, that volume was exceeded on 73 days. The highest volume in the CTA was 1 06,342 vehicles. "UberPool" permits TNC driver to pick up two parties on single trip. Under Consideration: Rental Car Shuttles pickup and drop off passengers on the lower level only. TNCs pick up passengers on the lower level. Shared Ride Vans relocated to an outer commercial curb or reduce the length of the zones they are currently allotted in the inside curb. 4

7 Rental Car Shuttles 11IA Trip Management Plan began October I, 2015; Rental Car companies are allowed an annual number of shuttle trips in the CTA with penalties if they exceed their allotment. Single Level Busing on the lower level is being considered; need to confirm that vertical circulation capacity is sufficient. 7

Consideration is being given to move the shared ride vans to the outer commercial curb or to reduce the length of the zones they are currently allotted on the inside curb. 9
