4 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 5. The applicants shall adhere to the following Instructions: a. The application shall be submitted so as to reach the Licensing Office not later than 07 working days before the scheduled examination date, for Islamabad Center. b. Manual Examination at all centres are changed into computerised online exams (except at Lahore centre therefore no exam will be conducted at Lahore centre tll further notifications). c. In case an application reaches the Licensing Office in the last 03 days from the start of scheduled examinations date; late fee be charged for each paper as per fee scheduleds. d. At Karachi Center Exams shall be conducted on daily basis. Applications shall be accepted upto a day prior to exams subject to availability of seats. e. Candidates are to report 15 minutes before the commencement of the paper with proper IDENTIFICATION Documents (NIC or Company employee/student Card or SPL or any licence/document, which bears a photograph). All candidates to be seated 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time for the commencement of paper. In case of late arrival, a candidate may be allowed to sit in the examination but no extra time will be given. f. Candidates will not be allowed to borrow or lend calculator or stationary etc during the course of the examination except with the concurrence of examination officer. g. Mobile phones if carried by an applicant shall be switched off and placed on the desk. Use of Mobile Phones, digital diaries or any digital data storing/retrieving devices is prohibited in the examination hall. h. Applicants who are required to get their application forms recommended by CFIs/ CGI are to bring a photo copy of the application form duly attested by CFI to the examination hall if their application was sent at later dates along with photo copy of dispatch receipt. i. No unauthorized person will be allowed an entry into the examination hall. j. Examination will be held at the CAA Airports under supervision of Airport Managers. k. Any candidate, who does not meet the eligibility criteria for the Examination and sits in Examination, shall loose the chance; and his/her result will not be declared. The responsibility for appearing in the appropriate paper lies entirely with the candidate. l. If a Federal Government holiday is declared on the scheduled examination date; the paper will be held on the next day e.g. if holiday is declared on 23 rd March 2015, the paper will be held on 24 th March, The rest of the program will remain unchanged. m. Syllabi for all CAA Technical Examinations are given in ANO-002-XXLC-2.0, available in the Licensing Section of CAA web site; EXAMINATION POLICY 6. All applicant appearing in CAA Technical Examinations are require to meet the requirements enumerated below before their applications are forwarded to Personnel Licensing Office by the FTOs. applicants appearing for:- a) FRTOL EXAM i) SPL (ii) CFI / CGI recommendations b) PPL EXAM i) SPL (ii) CFI / CGI recommendations c) CPL / IR EXAM i) PPL obtained (ii) CFI / CGI recommendations 7. Chief Flying Instructor or Chief Ground Instructor to ensure compliance of requirements before forwarding application.

A candidate once detailed for a CAA examination of any nature, at his/her own request, will not be allowed the facility of carrying forward that fee unless reasonable grounds exist for such an absence.
