1 SPORTING EQUIPMENT & SPECIAL / FRAGILE ITEMS Air Pumps Alcoholic Beverages, Liquor Item Guidelines Price Metal floor pumps and gauges May be transported when in sealed retail packaging. Alcoholic beverages may not 70% alcohol by volume. Alcohol and content is subject to customs limitations. Limit: 5 liters per passenger. Beer and wine containing 24% alcohol by volume or less are not regulated, except by international customs, and can be transported without restriction. 3 Batteries Frontier accepts spillable (wet cell) and nonspillable (dry cell) batteries. Refer to Traveling with Wheelchairs for more information. No additional fees apply if packed within checked baggage. - Items transported to power a medical assistive device, including wheelchairs, are exempt from all charges. Bicycles Non-motorized touring or racing bicycles with single seats. Bicycles must have the handlebars fixed sideways and the pedals removed and encased in a protective, durable case or box. Pedals do not need to be removed if wrapped in plastic foam or similar material. A checked bike fee of $75 per direction applies. Child Restraint Systems Car seats and Frontierapproved child harnesses (AMSafe Aviation C.A.R.E.S.) with air-travelapproved Department of Transportation (DOT) labels. NOTE: If no label, the item may be checked only. Booster seats may not be used during take-off and landing but may be used during flight. Exempt item, no charges Compressed Air Cylinders Cylinders for gas or liquid accepted when regulator valves are completely removed to allow for visual inspection inside the container. Cylinders of oxygen/co2/no2 are not allowed.

5 Coolers Coolers containing food items and dry ice. Dry ice may be used as a refrigerant only. The cooler or package must permit the release of carbon dioxide gas. NOTE: Frontier is not liable for items transported in the cooler. Refer to Food Items. Crematory Remains Crematory remains (human or animal) may be transported under certain conditions. The container must be made of a material such as wood or plastic that can be successfully screened by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). TSA will not open the container under any circumstances. If the container cannot be screened, it will not be allowed. If the urn is checked, it must be sufficiently packaged in a wellinsulated and sturdy container. Disabling Devices Pepper spray, bear spray, mace, or any item containing an irritant or incapacitating substance are accepted in limited quantities. One item 4 ounces or less with a locking cap that prevents accidental discharge. 14 Ski Equipment - Snow and Water One item which may include skis, ski poles, and ski boots. One pair of boots (in a boot bag) may be checked separately from the ski bag, but still count as one item as long as the boot bag does not 25 pounds.
