This is going to sound extremely dumb, but here's the story. A couple months ago I made up a lie to my ex that I was leaving the state to be dramatic thinking that would have her want to get back (it didn't work). Now a couple months later we have gotten back together after a lot of work and she wants proof that I was going to leave the state so I was kind of hoping there was a way to make a fake ticket so it could seem true. I worked really hard to get her back and I hate that I made this stupid lie and a ticket would brush it all away. I'm really hoping there's a way y'all could help. - Abraham on 7/29/16
I work at the Ministry of Defense of Russia. This year I am sent to work in Washington DC. And I m going to fly with my pet a domestic African pigmy hedgehog. May I import my hedgehog and have him fly with me??? Olga on 10/12/16
This may seem weird but what is the GPS coordinates for Door 4 in the passenger pick up location? I know this is a very unusual request- but you see this is the exact spot where I saw my current husband- where we met, first kiss and now years later, 4 kids later- Christmas is coming up and I would like to get him a bracelet that has the exact coordinates of where we first saw each other and our first kiss. I truly hope you can help me! - Angela on 12/1/16
But this wouldn t be a Dulles Outlook Speech without talking about the airlines.. so what is going on?
The worst sort of business is one that grows rapidly, requires significant capital to engender the growth, and then earns little or no money. Think airlines. Here a durable competitive advantage has proven elusive ever since the days of the Wright Brothers. Indeed, if a farsighted capitalist had been present at Kitty Hawk, he would have done his successors a huge favor by shooting Orville down. Warren Buffett, annual letter to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders, February 2008
This [the airline industry] Is No Longer a Hobby Richard Anderson, Delta Air Lines CEO speaking to analysts on 1Q 2012 earnings call
In an October 15, 2016 routine regulatory filing, Warren Buffet s Berkshire Hathaway reveals that it had invested $797M in American Airlines;$249M in Delta Air Lines; $237M in United Airlines; and an undisclosed sum in Southwest Airlines.
